2. Brief description of the object
2.1. The extension to the building consists of four above-ground floors and a basement.
The building is heated. The rooms of the corridors of the dining room and trading rooms are decorated with suspended ceilings.
The characteristics of the protected rooms are given in the appendix to the design task.
3. Main Design Solutions
3.1. Automatic installation of powder fire extinguishing.
3.1.1. According to NPB 11003, this section of the design provides for the protection by automatic powder fire extinguishing units of all rooms of the annex, with the exception of rooms with wet processes, ventilation chambers and other rooms in which there are no combustible materials (categories B4 and D on fire hazard).
3.1.2. When choosing options and methods of fire extinguishing of premises, the following main factors are considered:
fire hazard of substances and materials in protected premises;
possibility of fire propagation in protected premises;
construction structures;
sources of water supply and energy saving.
3.1.3. Based on the analysis of these factors and requirements of regulatory and technical documents for fire extinguishing in protected premises, automatic powder fire extinguishing units based on modules ("Tungus6" and "Tungus2") designed for detection, automatic fire extinguishing and fire alarm to the room with round-the-clock duty - the console room at el. minus 3.900 between axes 710, A-B.
3.1.4. Fire extinguishing agent in protected rooms is "IST1" fire extinguishing powder as per TU 21490015457278900, designed to extinguish class A, B, C fires and electrical installations under voltage up to 1000V.
Fire extinguishing powder "IST1" has fire safety certificate No. SSPB. RU.UP001.B03846, Certificate of Conformity No. ROSS.RU.0001.11BB02, hygienic conclusion No. 22.01.03.214.P.000429.04.04.
According to the degree of exposure to the human body, "IST1" powder belongs to low-hazard substances of hazard class IV in accordance with GOST 12.1.00776.
Irritating effect on the mucous membrane of the eyes - weakly expressed; on the skin - absent. The powder composition used is not toxic, does not corrode metals in dry form. After a fire, the powder can be removed with a vacuum cleaner or washed away with water.
3.1.5. Modules of powder fire extinguishing are adopted as modules: WFP (N) 6IGEU2 ("Tungus6") - ceiling and wall fasteners (as per TU 48540105457278905); WFP (N) -2-I-GE-U2 ("Tungus2") - ceiling and wall fasteners (as per TS 48540075457278903).
Modules are reusable products.
Module consists of housing accommodating fire-extinguishing powder and cold gas source with igniter and aerator for powder pseudo-liquefaction. In the lower part of the body there is a spray nozzle with a membrane, in the upper part the modules are equipped with brackets: for ceiling or wall mounting.
Electrical starting of modules is performed with current pulse of not less than 120 mA, duration of not less than 0.11 s. Voltage at contacts must be not less than 1.9V.
The module is the main element of automatic powder fire extinguishing plants, including receiving control devices, alarm loops with fire detectors and start signal generators.
The production of modules is certified in accordance with the requirements of the international quality system ISO9001.
3.1.6. All protected spaces are distributed in directions, each of which protects one room.
Direction numbering is a continuation of direction numbering in lit buildings. D and lit. B1.
For distribution of rooms by directions and basic characteristics of plants, refer to drawing 303/07APT1, sheet 2 "General data."
3.1.7. According to item 8.23. NPB 882001 * section of the design provides 100% supply of components (cold gas sources and membrane of module nozzles and powder "ISTO1") for replacement in the unit protecting the largest direction.
The stock shall be stored in the facility warehouse in accordance with the requirements of the Powder and Cold Gas Source Specification.
Reloading of modules should be carried out at the maintenance stations of modules licensed by the State Fire Service for this type of work.
It is allowed to have no stock at the site if the service contract of the plant is concluded.
3.1.8. According to the certificate for modules speed (time from the moment of actuating pulse supply to the module starting element to the moment of output start
fire-extinguishing powder from the module) is not more than 10 s, the action time (duration of fire-extinguishing powder supply) is not more than 1 second.
3.2. Automatic fire alarm installation
3.2.1. In order to avoid false actuations of fire extinguishing plants, two types of detectors were designed to detect fire in protected rooms: thermal maximum differential, type "S2000IP";
smoke analog address, type "DIP34A."
3.2.2. Two types of electrical start-up are provided in protected rooms:
automatic - at actuation of thermal and smoke detectors;
remote - carried out by the operator from the console room.
3.2.3. Disconnection of automatic start-up of installations when people are in protected rooms is performed by the operator from the console room.
The powder release is provided 30 seconds after the sound and light alarm about the beginning of the fire is turned on in the protected room and command pulses are sent to turn off the ventilation.
3.2.4. The Orion system of the company "Bolid" is used to control the powder fire extinguishing units and signal their operation, which includes:
C2000 control panels;
the personal computer with the software of an automated workplace of "C2000";
"BlikS12" light annunciators;
controller of two-wire communication line "C2000SP1";
"Automatics OFF" and "Automatics ON" annunciators;
executive relay S2000SP1 blocks;
S2000PI interface converters (IC);
sources of reserve food of "RIP12".
4. Principle of plants operation.
4.1. Protected rooms are divided into zones, each of which includes: fire extinguishing module, heat and smoke sensors. The number of zones corresponds to the number of modules.
The posture breakdown of the protected rooms and the current state of the sensors are displayed on the monitor of the console operator's computer.
Heat detectors control the rate of temperature rise, smoke detectors control the smoke of the optical chamber.
When the temperature rises by 80 per 0.1 s, the signal "Fire" is transmitted from the heat detector.
After 30 seconds (time of people evacuation) after "Fire" signal is sent, "Powder - leave" warning alarm is turned off and "Powder - do not enter!" Light alarm is turned on. Test and start-up units "S2000KPB" form command
pulse to the circuit of automatic starting of the powder fire extinguishing module in the fire compartment. Voltage is supplied to outputs of electrical igniters of WFP (H) modules .
After that, a gas is generated in cold gas sources (IGH), which swells the fire extinguishing powder and creates pressure inside the module body, sufficient to open the membrane and eject the fire extinguishing powder jet into the combustion zone through the nozzle-sprayer.
4.3 Automatic start-up of the unit is switched off at opening of doors in auxiliary rooms at actuation of input door position sensors.
4.4. Automatic start-up is restored by the operator from the security room.
