Calculation of the number of modules

4.1. AUPTRV is used for superficial extinguishing of fire centers of class A, V.

4.2. The number of MUPTV60 modules is calculated based on the fact that the area protected by one module is up to 20 m2.

Total modules: 35

Main Technical Solutions Adopted

 ÏÐÎÅÊÒÅ

5.1. In automatic mode PPKOP "Dozor16" performs constant cyclic polling of connected devices, analyzes the status of alarm loops and start-up circuits.

5.2. Protection of storage facilities is carried out in 11 areas of fire extinguishing.

5.3. Each fire fighting direction is controlled by two alarm loops. In one of the direction loops, a manual fire detector is included to send a fire signal in case of its visual detection by duty or maintenance personnel manually.

5.4. At actuation of one fire detector in the alarm loop, AUPTRV control equipment generates "Attention" signal with indication of direction in which actuation occurred. Internal sound and light annunciators of PPKOP "Dozor16" and observation panels are switched on. The signal "Attention" is transmitted to the PCP and personnel with round-the-clock duty located on the 1st floor in room 37.

5.5. When two fire detectors operate in different loops of the same fire extinguishing direction, the control equipment generates a "Fire" signal. "Fire" light-and-sound annunciator of the corresponding direction is ON. Commands are generated for disconnection of supply units and de-energizing of process equipment (if necessary). If the unit is in the "Automatic on" state, a ten-second countdown of the delay in the release of the gas-water mixture (the time required to evacuate people) begins.

5.6. Upon completion of ten-second delay of PPKOP "Dozor16" outputs electric pulse to launchers of modules of MUPTV60 of direction, in which detectors were activated, the cylinder with carbon dioxide is opened, which is supplied to the tank with water through the device for supply of propellant gas. The gas-water mixture obtained in the vessel is supplied through the dilution lines to the nozzles, which form and release fine sprayed (up to 100 mcm) jets of the fire extinguishing agent onto the protected surface.

5.7. The modules can also be started manually for each fire extinguishing direction by code from "Dozor16" PPKOP or from the manual starting device of URP7.

Attention! Starting from URP7 is performed without delay.

5.8. URP7 is installed directly at the entrance to the protected room. UHP7 generates the electrical pulse required to start the modules. Pulse characteristics: voltage 9 V, starting current 2 A, pulse duration 2 s. One URP7 can be started up to 6 modules.

5.9. On the doors to the protected rooms there are contact detectors that turn off the automatic start mode of the installation when they open. Indication of disabled state is displayed on "Automatic ON" annunciator located in front of inputs to protected rooms.

5.10. Automatic start mode is restored by introduction of code from PKP16 or from basic monitoring panel of BPN PPKOP "Dozor16."

5.11. Layout diagrams of modules, fire extinguishing agent supply pipelines with spray nozzles and starting equipment in protected rooms are given in the layout plans.

5.12. The modules are placed in protected rooms. In order to prevent mechanical damage, the modules shall be fenced with protective mesh.

5.13. The module can be placed in the cabinet. The cabinet design shall provide easy access to the component parts of the module for its maintenance and health check.

5.14. MUPTV60 includes 14 nozzle sprayers. Typical layout of nozzles is shown in Figure. Taking into account the distribution of combustible load, volumetric-structural features, shading zones, the presence of screens limiting the direct access of OTS jets to combustible, a specific layout of nozzles is calculated and mounted in each room.

Information on organization and maintenance of installation works

6.1. Installation of the MUPTV60 fire extinguishing module is recommended in the following sequence: preparatory work, measurements of the protected room, binding and installation of the module.

6.2. Piping shall be laid with a slope of at least 1:100 towards the sprayers.

The distance from the nozzles to the attachment unit of the corresponding pipeline is not more than 0.5 m. The distance between the pipe attachment elements must be not more than 3 m.

6.3. Install the pipelines using clamps and on site, in accordance with the placement plans, coordinating the attachment places with the site administration.

6.4. For the pipeline use steel water-gas galvanized pipes) as per GOST 326275.

6.5. Wires and cables shall be laid in accordance with PUE, NPB 8801.

To lay chains of loops of the alarm system on the walls and a ceiling in boxes 20х10 or to a corrugated pipe of nonflammable Zh16, to conduct installation a mm KSPV 2х0.5 wire.

To lay chains of start-up, the notification a wire of PVS of 2х0.75 mm2 of â Zh16. Start-up and alarm circuits can be laid together in one corrugated pipe.

6.6. In all cases where wires and cables pass through walls, wire or cable, lay in a separate piece of steel pipe.

6.7. The distance between the fire-fighting communication systems by cables and power cables shall not be less than 0.25 m.

Power supply and earthing

7.1. AUPTRV electric receivers shall have category I power supply according to PUE in terms of power supply reliability. If it is impossible to supply electric receivers from two independent sources, it is allowed to supply them from one source: from different transformers of two-transformer or from two nearby single-transformer substations connected to different supply lines laid along different routes with an automatic reserve input device.

7.2. At objects of power supply reliability category III it is allowed to use storage batteries providing power supply of electric receivers in standby mode for 24 hours and in "Alarm" mode for at least 3 hours.

7.3. Earthing of modules tanks shall be performed by wire with copper core section not less than 1.5 mm2. Connect all grounding wires to the common grounding circuit of the building, refer to RD 78.14593. Operation of the device should be carried out in accordance with the "Rules for technical operation of electrical installations by the consumer" and "Intersectoral rules for labor protection (safety rules) during operation of electrical installations" put into effect with the 01.02.2001 of the State Energy Supervision.
