Description

The stand is designed for disassembling, assembling and adjusting the clutches of KAMAZ cars. Pneumatic cylinder 6 and casing 7 with clamp base 8 are attached to stand table 2 (Fig.). Pneumatic cylinder is controlled by pneumatic screen. Three grips 4 and mounting plates with guide pins are located on the table.

Two grooves are made on rod (3) of pneumatic cylinder for installation of folding washers of clamp and limiting bushing. Air is supplied to the cylinder through nipples of T-joint (1) and corresponding hoses. The clamp consists of a bushing and two slashes with transverse plates at the ends. Folding washer is provided on pneumatic cylinder rod to fix clamp. A limiting bushing is applied to the bench, which serves to act on the thrust clutch ring and allows movement of the thrust ring by a value of 12 mm.

Bracket for distributing valve is welded on bench casing, and T-joint 1 is installed on base for distribution of compressed air supplied from network to pneumatic crane and to pistol for parts blowing.

Measuring device consists of base, in which spring-loaded piston and swinging arrow are installed, and casing with scale and protective glass. Hole is provided in base of measuring device for its installation on rod of pneumatic cylinder. The price of division of the scale of the device is 0.1mm.

The principle of operation of the bench is compression of clutch pressure springs during assembly, disassembly and adjustment. After adjusting the coupling, the parallelism of the upper plane of the support ring with respect to the working plane of the pressure disc is controlled by a switch-type measuring device. According to the manufacturer's requirement, the inspection should be carried out only after a five-fold squeeze of the thrust ring by a value of 12 mm. During adjustment and control, the clutch is fixed in the compressed position by three clamps .
