5. Principle of operation of the installation

General part

The working design of the automatic gas fire extinguishing system was developed on the basis of contract No. XX dated XX.XX.2011, as well as the technical assignment for design and in accordance with the following regulatory documents:

- SP 5.13130.2009 "Fire protection systems. Fire alarm and fire extinguishing units are automatic. Design Codes and Regulations ";

- GOST 21.10197. "Basic Requirements for Design and Detailed Design Documentation."

- NPB 10503 GPS of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation "Determination of categories of rooms and buildings by explosion and fire hazard."

- PUE "Electrical Installation Rules."

- RD 25.95390 "Automatic fire extinguishing, fire, security and fire alarm systems. About-Value Conditional System Graphics.

- RD 78.14593 "Guidance document. Systems and complexes of security, fire and fire alarm. Rules of Work Execution and Acceptance ";

The design envisages equipping the room with a modular gas fire extinguishing unit designed for:

• automatic detection of fire in the protected room;

• generation and transmission of signals on the state and operation of the installation at the security station;

• automatic activation of gas fire extinguishing means in case of fire to create a concentration of fire extinguishing agent sufficient to localize and extinguish the fire in its initial stage in the protected room without the participation of people .

3.1. Main decisions made in the project

"3MTMNovecTM 1230" gas fire extinguishing agent is used as fire extinguishing agent for protected premises. In installations with a gas fire extinguishing agent (GOTV) Novec implemented a volumetric method of extinguishing fires, based on the cooling effect .

When supplying fire extinguishing agent, the following methods of starting the plant are provided :

a) automatic - from automatic fire detectors;

b) remote - from the manual fire detector installed in the protected room.

The project provides for 100% stock of GHTV, which is used in the event of fire in the protected room during the reloading of modules with the main stock and is stored in the warehouse of the organization providing service for fire extinguishing plants.

The reserve is provided in the volume sufficient to restore the operability of the plant, which worked in the protected room of the object.

The service life of the plant is at least 10 years.

The plant includes the following equipment:

1. The module of gas fire extinguishing of MPATMS 1230 about GOTV "3MTM NovecTM 1230" of 106 l with an operating pressure of 25 bars at 20 °C intended for storage and production of fire extinguishing substance. The module is supplied with a filled fire extinguishing agent .

2. Pressure switch intended for output of signal on actuation of installation is installed directly on shutoff-starting device of module.

Module is connected with pipeline by means of high-pressure hose. A nozzle is installed on the pipeline to uniformly disperse the 3MTM NovecTM 1230 GTV in the protected room.

3.3. Equipment placement

The main stock module is located in the protected room.

The module with reserve stock in accordance with SP 5.13130.2009 is stored in the warehouse of the facility or organization providing service for fire extinguishing units.

Piping is routed to walls and ceiling from the roof.

3.4. Requirements for installation and operation of the plant

Installation and operation of the gas fire extinguishing unit is recommended in accordance with the instructions of VSN 2509.67-85 "Rules for the production and acceptance of works. Automatic fire-fighting installations, "as well as requirements laid down in the technical documentation by the equipment manufacturers.

4. electrical part

4.1. Main decisions made in the project

As control stations the installation of modular fire extinguishing in the project used the S2000m monitor (M) isp. 10 companies LLC Bolid (Russia). "C2000M" is the two-threshold device and provides performance of the following main functions:

- reception of "Fire" and "Fault" signals by one loop from smoke address optoelectronic fire detectors, as well as from manual fire detector;

- reception of information from the door position sensor, automatic start-up recovery device;

- monitoring the condition of loops, external circuits and devices and displaying the received information;

- formation of an output signal on the starting chain of S2000ASPT bringing the module of a system of gas fire extinguishing into work ;

- actuation of "Gas - leave!," "Gas - do not enter!," "Automation is off" light and light-sound annunciators;

- issuing a command to disconnect ventilation and process equipment;

- output of "Fire" signal to fire alarm system.

For fire detection the project provides installation of announcers of fire smoke optical-electronic DIP-34A-01-02

For remote start of the gas fire extinguishing unit in case of visual detection of fires, a manual fire detector (IPR3SU) is provided.

When the door is opened in the protected room (by the signal from the magnetic-contact annunciator), the automatic gas start mode is switched off and the installation sets to manual mode.

To restore the automatic start-up of the fire extinguishing system, an automatic start-up recovery device (CPA) installed at the entrance to the protected room is provided.

The project also provides for the installation of light and light-and-sound displays "Gas - leave!," "Gas - do not enter!," "Automation is off."

Delay of gas release from gas fire extinguishing unit, from the moment of sensors actuation or actuation of remote gas starting is not less than 30 seconds.

From the C2000M monitor (M) by means of dry contacts the signal output "Fire" is carried out

Multiplication and reinforcement of contacts is carried out by the Customer.

For indication, recording of states of "C2000ASPT" control device and equipment connected to it, remote control of control device devices, remote generation of "CP reset" command, the project provides for a price-tral indication panel (C2000PT) installed in the "Security Post" room, provided with round-the-clock maintenance personnel.

4.2. Power supply of the unit

According to the degree of ensuring the reliability of power supply of electrical receivers of automatic fire extinguishing plants, it should be classified as category I according to the Rules for the device of electrical installations.

Category I electric receivers shall be provided with electric power from two independent mutually redundant power sources. Assignment for power supply of G.01APT.Zd1 unit.

4.3. Equipment placement

To ensure the operation of the gas fire extinguishing unit in the electrical part of the project, the following equipment is provided: in the protected room:

control device "S2000ASPT";

smoke fire detectors;

- "EXIT" light-and-sound annunciator

light-and-sound alert "Gas - Leave!";

manual fire detector

at the entrance to the protected room:

- "Gas - Do not enter!" annunciator;

- "Automatics OFF" annunciator;

on the doors of the space to be protected:

- magnetic contact detector;

in the premises of the security post:

- central indication panel (DPI) S2000PT

4.4. Cable links

Perform protective grounding of the pipeline with PV36 cable.

To execute all other connecting lines between PU and the equipment of gas fire extinguishing KPKEVngFRLS cable 1х2х0.75.

Wiring of the cable network in the rooms shall be performed by walls and ceiling - in cable channels, (route to the CPI) - in corrugated PVC pipe.

4.5. Grounding

Protective grounding (grounding) of electrical equipment should be performed in accordance with the requirements of PUE, "Intersectoral rules for protection

labor (safety rules) during operation of electrical installations "(MPPBEE) SNiP 3.05.0685, GOST 12.1.03081 and technical documentation for this installation.

Electrical equipment shall meet the requirements of GOST 12032001., GOST 12.2.007.075 * and MPPBEE on the method of protecting a person from electric shock.

4.6. Requirements for installation and operation of the plant

During installation and operation of the plant, refer to the requirements laid down in the technical documentation for the manufacturers of this equipment, GOST 12.1.01979 *, GOST 12.2.005. and RD78.14593.

4.7. Basic Safety Guidelines

The installation of the plant should be guided by the requirements of SNiP 12042002 and SNiP12032001, including the requirements specified in sections:

- electrical installation works;

- loading and unloading operations;

- operation of technological tooling and tools;

- installation works;

- equipment testing;

- ensuring electrical safety;

- fire safety;

- organization of work on labor protection;

- ensuring protection of employees against harmful production factors.

When performing electrical installation works, it is also necessary to comply with the requirements of SNiP 3.05.0685, MPPBEE and PUE. When working with the power tool, it is necessary to comply with the requirements of GOST 12.2.00775 (2001) and MPPBEE.

During operation of the fire extinguishing unit it is necessary to follow the operating manual, technical descriptions and certificates of the equipment included in the unit, RD 2596490 "System for maintenance and repair of automatic fire extinguishing units, smoke removal, security, fire and fire alarm. Organization and Procedure of Works, "" Intersectoral Rules for Labor Protection (Safety Rules) during Operation of Electrical Installations "(MPPBEE) and" Fire Safety Rules in the Russian Federation "(PPB0103).

Maintenance of the plant is allowed for persons who have undergone a preliminary and periodic medical examination, who have a document certifying the right to work with the installations, a certificate of verification of knowledge of the norms and rules of work in electrical installations (electrical safety group), who have completed an introductory training on occupational health and safety and training at the workplace for safe working methods.

Installation and repair works in electrical networks and devices (or near them), as well as work on connection and disconnection of wires should be carried out at removed voltage. In this case, it is necessary to check the absence of voltage, install grounding and display prohibition (warning) posters. When performing work at height, in wells, bore holes in closed and inaccessible spaces, as well as in existing electrical installations, it is necessary to issue a work permit.

Electricians (electricians) serving electrical installations must be equipped with overalls, special vehicles and personal protective equipment (PPE), and must also be equipped with electrical protective equipment that has passed periodic inspection. All electrical installation works, maintenance of electrical installations, periodicity and methods of testing of electrical protective equipment should be carried out in compliance with the "MPPBEE" of the State Energy Supervision.
