Description
During the course project, a special device was designed for processing the workpiece in the in-grinding operation - a membrane cartridge. A basing diagram, a schematic diagram of the device, a diagram of the action of forces on the workpiece during cutting were compiled. Calculations were made of the cutting force, the torque generated during the cutting process, the radial force on one cam, the moment causing bending of the membrane disk, the cylindrical stiffness of the membrane, the angle of separation of the cams and the required force for expansion of the membrane. Based on the obtained data, a one-way hydraulic cylinder with a normalized diameter was selected, and its main characteristics were calculated. In the graphic part, an assembly drawing of the accessory, its specification, as well as drawings of the following parts were developed: a replaceable cam, bushing, cover, body.

Introduction
In connection with the development of mechanical engineering and the constant improvement and updating of machines and mechanisms, the volume and complexity of technological equipment is increasing, as is the need for them.
The use of specialized technological equipment in production allows to significantly improve the quality of the manufactured parts due to the simplification of the design of the devices, as well as the use of a rational layout and fixation of the parts, as well as the use of the most suitable clamping devices.
The use of machine tools allows you to reliably base and secure the machined parts and maintain its rigidity during processing; ensure stable high quality of machined parts with minimum dependence of quality on qualification of the worker; increase productivity and facilitate working conditions of the worker as a result of mechanization of devices.
Purpose, arrangement and operation principle of the designed accessory
According to a task, the design of device for installation and fixing of a detail 12.01.026 - the Wheel for processing of an opening of Ø110H7+0.035 is chosen. Machining is performed on the in-grinding machine of model 2K227B with a grinding wheel PV grinding wheel 80 x 63 x 40 23A, 24A 40 CM2 6K GOST 242483.
Accessory consists of housing 8 in which bushing 13 is installed, which contacts membrane 1. Replaceable cam 3 is installed on diaphragm 1 through bushing 2 and fixed by two screws in guide bushing 5. Protective casing 9 secured by means of screws is installed outside on cartridge body. Housing of accessory is installed on flange 10.
Installation and fixing of the part in the cartridge is performed as follows. When working fluid is supplied through pipe 20 through connector 19 and clutch 18 to housing of hydraulic cylinder 17, pressure in working chamber of hydraulic cylinder increases and thus moves piston fixed on rod 15 by means of nut 28 and washer 29. Moving rod (15) fixed by means of rod (14) pushes rod (7) fixed by safety ring (6) on bushing (13). The sleeve 13 exerts pressure on the diaphragm 1, extends it and thereby expands the replaceable cams 3.
After the cams 3 have moved to the desired angle, the part is inserted into the chuck and the end face abuts against the replaceable support 11. After the part is installed, the pressure in the hydraulic system decreases, and the membrane straightens and clamps the part.
The fixture can be reconfigured to a different part size thanks to replaceable cams.
Conclusion
During the course project, a special device was designed for processing the workpiece in the in-grinding operation - a membrane cartridge.

The use of this device will ensure quick and reliable fixation of the blanks during processing and will reduce the amount of scrap in the lot by minimizing the basing and installation errors.
