Introduction

This technical description of steam boilers E-2.5-0.9GMN is intended to study their composition, device, technical data and other information necessary to ensure the full use of the technical capabilities of the products.

When studying boilers, the following documents should be further used:

- boiler certificate;

- certificate for pump unit;

- operation manual of the control equipment set;

- technical description and operating manual of the burner;

- technical description and operation manual of fans.

Note:

Due to the constant work on improving the product, increasing its reliability and improving the operating conditions, minor changes can be made to the design, which are not reflected in this edition.

Appointment

Steam boilers E2,50,9GMN belong to the type of vertical-and-water-tube double-drum boilers with natural circulation of pressurized workers (without an smoke pump) are designed to produce saturated steam with a working pressure of up to 0.8MPa, used in industry and agriculture for technological, household and household needs.

Boilers are designed for natural gas and fuel oil.

The design of the boiler pipe system withstands a short-time increase in the pressure in the furnace to 1000 Pa.

In terms of stability and exposure to ambient air temperature and humidity, steam boilers are manufactured in the climatic version of CCL, placement category 4 as per GOST 1515069.

The boiler design ensures their installation in areas with seismicity up to b points on the scale M K64.

Boiler arrangement

Pipe system.

The main part of the boiler is its pipe system (Fig.2), consisting of two main parts - convective and radiation.

Convective part is formed by upper and lower drums arranged on one vertical axis and interconnected by bundle of pipes.

The pipe system is made in a gas-tight design with the use of solid-welded screens as the radiation surface of the furnace and consists of the following main units:

upper (2) and lower (3) drums arranged on one vertical axis and interconnected by a bundle of pipes forming a convective bundle (I);

- rear screen (5) made of smooth pipes connected to each other by membranes made of strip.

The screen is connected to the circulation circuit by means of top and bottom manifolds welded into drums:

- "C" - shaped screen (4) made of smooth pipes with membranes, covering the ceiling, under and the left side wall of the furnace chamber.

The upper and lower headers of the rear screen are located in the same vertical plane, which provides conditions for cleaning from scale and repair of pipes .

Access to the inside of the drums and to the pipes of the convective part is possible through the hatches of the drums.

Separation device and feed water inlet pipe are arranged inside upper drum. On the outer generatrix of the drum there are branch pipes and connectors for connection of steam extraction valves, feed water supply, pressure gauge safety valves, steam pressure sensors, air duct, blowing, reagents input (refer to the boiler general view drawing).

The boiler is blown and drained through the branch pipes located on the lower drum. The radiation part of the pipe system is located along the axis of the drums at the side of the convective beam.

Boiler furnace is formed by "C" shaped pipes shielding ceiling, under and left wall of furnace. Pipes shielding the rear wall of the furnace are welded into upper and lower headers connected to corresponding drums. Front part is made in form of air-cooled panel, in central part of which burner device is installed. From the direct impact of the flare, the panel on the side of the furnace is covered with heat resistant concrete. Weakly inclined pipes of the hearth of the furnace are covered with a layer of chamotte brick. Gas density of furnace chamber is achieved due to welded spacers between pipes. At the end of the furnace, before the combustion products exit into the convective bundle, as well as in the last gas duct, explosive valves are installed. Explosion of the furnace valve is made of aluminum sheet with thickness of 0.3mm of grade AD1M0.3 GOST 21631-76, and explosion of the gas duct valve - with thickness of 0.1mm of grade AD1M0.1 GOST 2163176. In case of failure, replace the sheet. Fuel combustion products enter convective bundle through gaps between tubes of first row of bundle in rear part of furnace chamber. Along the flow of gases, the convective bundle is divided by a partition to direct the flow of gases and improve heat-exchange conditions. Gas density of the ends of the convective bundle is provided by pressure sheets, which are attached to the bundle pipes by bolts through heat insulation gaskets. Two steam blowers are installed to clean the convective bundle from sooty deposits. Steam is supplied to blowing from upper drum.

The boiler has lightweight natrub heat insulation attached to the pipe system by means of welded pins and behind the decorative skin made of thin-sheet steel.

For the convenience of the boiler maintenance, the control of the steam boron valve, as well as the push-pull rods for forced blasting of the safety valves, were brought to the front of the boiler.

The boiler with all auxiliary equipment is assembled on a common frame.

Power supply system.

The boiler power supply system is designed to fill the boiler with water, make-up it during operation and consists of an electrically driven feed pump, pipelines, instrumentation and valves. The description of the design, operation principle and maintenance of the feed pump are given in the pump certificate.

Water is taken by pump from feed tank and supplied to delivery line.

The pressure generated by the pump and the water temperature are controlled by the pressure gauge and thermometer, respectively. The action of the pressure in the boiler on the pump during the suction and shutdown of the pump is excluded by the check valve.

Water enters the drum through a special pipe, which is located inside the upper drum and has a number of radial holes.

Fuel system.

The most complex and responsible equipment of the boiler is the fuel combustion system. The cost-effective and safe operation of the boiler, the amount of harmful emissions, and the automatic operation of the boiler depend on this system. The gas-oil burner is designed for separate combustion of fuel oil according to GOST 1058575 and natural gas in the boiler combustion chamber. The technical characteristics, design and operating principle of the burner are described in the manufacturer's "Operating Instructions for Gas-oil Burners," supplied to the consumer together with the burner device.

To ensure excessive pressure in the boiler furnace, a radial fan of BP type is used.

The design and operating principle of the BP fan are described in the manufacturer's "Fan Operating Manual," which is supplied to the consumer with the fan.

Air is directed from the fan through the air duct to the burner device.

A rotary damper is installed on the duct in front of the fan, which allows to build the combustion process at the optimal ratio of "fuel air" and automatically withstand this ratio with positional control of the boiler capacity.

Control system.

The control system is designed for semi-automatic control and protection of the boiler and is a complex of devices and devices that performs:

- semi-automatic start-up and shutdown of the boiler according to the specified program;

- automatic control of start and stop programs execution sequence;

- control through WCD unit from the upper control level;

- emergency shutdown and light-and-sound alarm at:

a) extinguishing the flame in the furnace;

b) increase of steam pressure above permissible one;

c) lowering the water level in the upper drum below the permissible one;

d) increasing the water level in the upper drum above the permissible one;

e) emergency shutdown of the fan;

f) increase of fuel pressure upstream the burner;

g) reduction of fuel pressure upstream the burner;

h) reduction of air pressure upstream the burner;

and) the explosion of gases in the furnace;

k) deviation from the norm of general-purpose para-meters;

l) faults of main units of WCD unit;

m) memorizing the root cause of the accident.

Boiler operation

The operation of the boiler is based on the principle of transferring heat from the combustion products of fuel in the furnace to water located in the pipes of the boiler heating surfaces. The combustion products of the fuel transfer heat to water, which, due to the difference in densities, rises into the upper drum, being converted first into a steam-water mixture, thereby into steam, which is supplied through the nozzle in the upper drum for production needs.

Instrumentation

The boiler is equipped with pressure gauges for measuring:

- water pressure at the boiler inlet;

- steam pressure at boiler outlet;

Pressure gauges for measurement:

- air pressure upstream the burner;

- gas pressure upstream the burner;

- tightness check of BPG5 valves.

A thermometer is installed on the feed line to measure the temperature of the feed water. If there is a common pit pipeline for several boilers, it is allowed to install one thermometer on the common main.

To measure the temperature of liquid fuel in the fuel line in the immediate vicinity of the boiler, a thermometer must be installed in front of the nozzle.
