Introduction

At the current stage of development, exceptional importance is attached to the development of domestic engineering, the training of highly qualified engineering and technical personnel for this industry. The leading role in mechanical engineering is played by machine tool engineering, which produces production facilities - technological equipment, devices and tools for machine-building enterprises.

The costs of technological tooling reach up to 20% of the cost of the product, they are especially significant when creating a complex, expensive and responsible part of it - devices.

Devices in mechanical engineering are additional devices for technological equipment used in the performance of technological operations (processing of blanks, assembly of products, control, etc.). Due to the use of devices, the need for marking of blanks is eliminated, the technological capabilities of metalworking equipment are expanded; increased productivity; improved accuracy of processing and quality of products; possibility of multi-station maintenance, application of progressive time standards, reduction of required skills and number of workers; Conditions are created for mechanization and automation of production processes; reduced cost of production; improved working conditions and safety.

Reusable tooling is widely used in mechanical engineering. With the introduction of readjustable (reversible) machine tools, the design labor intensity is reduced by 2... by 3 times and the production cycle of machine tools is reduced by 3... by 4 times. Reusable process equipment is used in various types of production, and also meets the requirements due to the expansion of the fleet of numerical control machines (CNC). Shifting CNC machines to other workpieces is limited to replacing the program, replacing, or re-fitting the workpieces with a small amount of time.

It can be seen that in order to successfully solve the issues of scientific and technological progress, engineering and technical workers of mechanical engineering must know the theoretical foundations of the creation of devices, their systems and typical designs; be able to analyze the compliance of the design of devices with the requirements of production; have the appropriate skills to design and calculate various devices.

Description of operation of accessory

The tool is used for milling slots on a NC mode milling machine. GF2171.

The accessory is installed on the machine table using prismatic keys (pos. 28) and four machine bolts, as a result of which in the housing structure (pos. 2) four slots b = 22 mm wide are provided.

The machined part is based on the machined end face of the workpiece, installed in the ring hole (pos. 3), is additionally displayed about the corner using a cut finger (pos. 6). The machined part is clamped by a clamp (pos. 4).

The principle of operation of the device is as follows:

1) The workpiece is installed in the accessory.

2) The clamp is installed between the washer (pos. 23) and the workpiece. The whole clamp unit is fixed with a nut (pos. 21).

3) By turning the control valve handle (pos. 27), which is installed on cover of pneumatic cylinder (pos. 1) air from the pneumatic system enters the right cavity of the pneumatic cylinder, as a result the piston moves to the left, moving the wedge in turn (pos. 10). The wedge, in turn, affects the cracker (pos. 15) and on the roller (pos. 11), as a result of which the stud (pos. 24) and the clamping unit secured thereon move to the left, thereby clamping the workpiece.

4) After machining it is necessary to perform expansion of the treated part, as a result of which air should be supplied to the left cavity of the pneumatic cylinder.
