Description
The course project consists of two sections: Calculation and design of tool adjustment for a CNC lathe and turret machine and calculation with the design of a worm slot milling cutter. Also presented are two sheets of A1 format with the necessary design elements.
In the first part of the course project, we assigned access to the part, performed a step-by-step processing plan, compiled a control program, designed the instrumental adjustment of the tool.
The second part contains the determination of the dimensions of the slotted shaft, the calculation of the structural elements of the cutter, the graphic determination of the profile of the tooth of the cutter, the design of the tooth cutter and the structural elements of the worm slot milling cutter.

Summary
The course design consists of two sections: Calculation and design of instrumental adjustment for a CNC turning and turret machine and calculation with the design of a worm spline cutter. There are also two A1 sheets with the necessary design elements.
In the first part of the course project, we assigned permits for the part, completed a step-by-step processing plan, drew up a control program, designed tool adjustment.
The second part contains determination of splined shaft dimensions, calculation of cutter structural elements, graphic definition of cutter tooth profile, design of cutter tooth and worm splined cutter structural elements.
Brief technical nature of the machine and control system
1.1 Assign the machine
Lathe-revolver mod machine. 1P426DF3 with a vertical axis of a 8-position capstan on a cross support from the CNC it is intended for processing of details, difficult on a configuration, with rectilinear, step and curvilinear profiles in a semi-automatic and automatic cycle in the conditions of small-scale and serial productions: on it it is possible to make turning, boring, a pro-point of flutes, undercutting of faces, drilling, coredrilling, expansion, cutting of a carving (bars, taps, cutters).
Machine accuracy class - P as per GOST 882.
Conclusion
In the course project on the topic "Designing tool adjustment for a CNC turning and turret machine. Worm Spline Cutter Calculation and Design "during design:
1) Design revision of the part drawing, during which nominal dimensions, tolerances, and roughness were assigned to the part.
2) Tool adjustment during the development of which the tool material for each of the cutting tools was selected, each transition was separately considered and a control program was developed for each transition .
3) Design of tool adjustment during which cutting tools were selected.
4) Calculation and design of worm spline cutter. The design was done in the A1 format drawing and included the drawings:
-Sizing the end section of the spline shaft
-graphic definition of tooth profile
- mill profile in normal section
-constructing of milling cutter tooth
-worm spline cutter structural elements
5) Technical requirements have been assigned for the production of worm spline cutter.
