Description
The spindle 1 of the machine rotates on three precise radial bearings in pinhole 7. In the front (lower) support, in addition to the two radial bearings 3, a thrust bearing 4 is installed, which perceives the axial load during drilling. The rear (upper) support consists of a radial bearing 9 and a thrust bearing 8. The latter is used to perceive axial loads during reverse trimming and other similar operations.
Landing surfaces for bearings are made according to the first class of accuracy. The thrust bearings are tightened through the support washer 10 by a special nut 11, which is stopped by a screw 12.
The transmission of torque from the gearbox to the spindle is carried out through the tail part of it, which with its slots is mated to the sleeve V of the gearbox.
The lower thickened part of the spindle has a conical hole (Morse No. 5) for installing the tool.
On the pinnola spindle 7 is cut a rail to transmit the movement of the feed. The restriction of the spindle stroke is provided by a special key 13, the end of which goes into the groove of the pinoli.
In the lower part of the pinoli, oiler 5 is pressed to lubricate the lower supports of the spindle. To access the lubricant hole at the top bearings with a syringe, the screws must be unscrewed and the front cover of the drill head removed. Lubrication is made through a hole in the housing.
In the flange 2 there is a hole "B", into which a pin is inserted to prevent the spindle from falling out when dismantling the rack and pin.
