General description of worksExcavation during the construction of the underground part of the building can be divided into the following simple construction processes:
- cutting of vegetable layer;
- excavation soil development;
- loading of soil into vehicles or behind the edge of the trench
- soil transportation;
- unloading of soil into dump;
- cleaning of trenches bottom;
- backfilling;
Adverse hydrogeological, climatic and special conditions may require additional processes (drainage or artificial lowering of ground water level, loosening of dense soils, fixing of excavation walls, etc.)
The main process by which the selection of the driving machine and the linking of the remaining mechanization tools is carried out is the development of soil in the excavation
The initial data for the design of earthworks are:
soil type and humidity - II gr., oily clay without impurities, average density in natural occurrence is 1900 kg/m
trench depth H = 2.0 m;
width of trenches 4 m,
length: 4 trenches of 217 m
2 trenches of 55 m
Slope slope (its ratio in height to laying) for clays - 1:
