Introduction
Transport is one of the most important areas of public production and is an industry of material production. All products of enterprises or agriculture will only be useful when they are delivered to the place of consumption. This is the great importance of transport.
Road freight transport plays an important role in solving the problems of fully and timely meeting the needs of the national economy and the population in transportation, in improving the efficiency and quality of the country's transport system. Freight road transport performs over 80% of the volume of cargo transported by all modes of transport, has mobility, maneuverability and great transportation capabilities.
When performing this course project, we select loading and unloading mechanisms, select car routes, determine the performance and number of cars on each route, and compile a task for each car.
The course project on the organization of road transportation is carried out with the aim of consolidating and deepening theoretical knowledge when studying the course ‹ ‹ Organization of road transportation › ›, acquiring practical skills in solving the problems of choosing traffic routes and evaluating them, calculating the necessary number of cars to perform a given volume of transportation, choosing loading and unloading mechanisms, organizing the work of rolling stock, mechanized loading and unloading facilities.
