Introduction
Plate conveyors are used to transport various bulk and piece weights in horizontal and inclined directions in metallurgical, chemical, coal, power, engineering and many other industries, as well as to move products from one workplace to another in process production. The advantages of plate conveyors are the possibility of transporting heavy large-piece and hot loads at high productivity (up to 2000 m3/h or more) and the length of movement (up to 2 km) due to the high strength of traction chains and the possibility of using intermediate drives.
This paper calculates a plate conveyor conveying ore and having a capacity of 210 t/h.
