3. Requirements for Master Gears
In addition to the general requirements for the design of the car, special requirements are imposed on the bridges of the car, according to which the bridges must:
• have minimum weight, smallest overall dimensions, high rigidity;
• provide stable installation angles of controlled wheels and their pivoting axes (pivots).
Consider these requirements and their implementation.
The mass of the bridge. On most cars, bridges are unsprung parts. In this case, the bridges are not directly connected to the carrier system of the car and are connected to the frame or body using a suspension. Therefore, the mass of the bridge is important.
The mass of the driving bridge depends on the type of car and the type of bridge itself. It's about 10... 15% of dry weight of truck chassis and 3... 5% of the dry weight of cars. Moreover, for trucks, the upper mass limit refers to driving bridges with a double main gear.
When driving along the irregularities of the road, bridges make high-frequency oscillations with a frequency of 350... 600 min-1. Therefore, the mass of the bridge is essential. So, a decrease in the mass of the bridge leads
Conclusion
During the work, the designs and classifications of the bridges of the car were studied. When calculating and building the external speed characteristic of the engine of the KamAZ-5320 car, the main characteristics of the engine were revealed. The calculation of the traction balance of the car determined the moments of force on each of the gears. When calculating, it was revealed that the car is able to move in any gear without slipping. The calculation of the bridge beam did not reveal deviations from the standard values.
