Product Description

The accessory is used for centering and fixing the part with cylindrical base surfaces. The use of leaf springs improves the accuracy of installation of the workpiece.

Fastening of the workpiece is achieved by the fact that at compression of the pack of plate springs 8, which are concave washers in the form of a truncated cone with several radial non-through slots, their outer diameter increases and internal diameter decreases. Adaptation to fasten to the transitional flange of a spindle of the machine bolts m12. The part in the fixture is based on two belts. Left end of part is centered along hole of bushing 5, and right end is centered by holes of plate springs 8 with preliminary centering by bushing 7 and ring 9.

When the pneumatic actuator is switched on, the spider (2) moves to the left together with the hinge bolts (3) and the bushing (10). The latter, resting against pressure ring 9, moves it and compresses a pack of leaf springs 8, which, deforming, center and fix the workpiece.

The safety screw 11 limits the compression of the plate spring stack.

The assembly unit contains 23 standard products. Only threaded connections and pin connections are used in this design.

Description of the Assembly Drawing

Assembly drawings are made for articles consisting of several parts.

An assembly drawing is a document containing an image of an assembly unit (product or part of it) and the data necessary for its assembly (manufacture) and control .

The assembly drawing shall give a complete understanding of the form, functional purpose and composition of the assembly.

According to the assembly drawing, simple units and complex machines and technical devices can be assembled from individual parts, parts of mechanisms.

According to the assembly drawing, one can imagine the mutual arrangement of the components, the methods of connecting the parts to each other and the principle of operation.

Read the assembly drawing - this means to find out the purpose of this product, the device and the principle of its operation, to represent the shape and dimensions of the product as a whole and each part separately, to understand the mutual arrangement of the parts and how to connect them to each other, etc.

The assembly drawing shows 3 views: main view, left view, and right view. In the view on the left and right there are local sections. The main view shows the situation (machined part clamped in the cartridge).

Detail detail drawings shall be made taking into account the following requirements:

1. The part in the working drawing is drawn in the same position as it occupies during its manufacture. Body parts and covers with a small number of surfaces to be machined can be positioned in a position corresponding to the position of the part in the assembly unit.

The main view of the part was selected based on the following conditions:

- if possible, more axes of holes and other elements are oriented parallel to the front plane of projections, on which the main view is depicted;

-The weld plane of the part (the plane on which the part is connected to another part) must be horizontal or parallel to the profile plane of the projections if a left view is shown.

Dimensions in the drawing are applied in accordance with GOST 2.307 - 68.

Part drawing description, pos.1

Part pos. 1 - Adapter flange is a type of body of revolution, the maximum diameter of which is 220 mm.

There are 2 views in the drawing, the main front view and the left view. These 2 views are sufficient to fully describe the drawing. Frontal section (B-B) is made on the main view. The drawing also has a detail view (A (2:1)).

Dimensions in the drawing are applied in accordance with GOST 2.307 - 68. Dimensions are evenly distributed across 2 views so as not to clutter the drawing.

Dimensions on mating parts should be placed at the same time to ensure that the dimensions are linked.

Part element shape dimensions are specified, if possible, in one image in which the element has a more complete image. The diameter dimensions of the holes are placed on the sections of these holes. The dimensions of the non-circular holes and slots are shown in the images showing the shape of the holes.

Part features are dimensioned from process and design bases.

Surfaces mating with other parts have roughness Ra 3.2 - (fine turning) to reduce friction between surfaces. Thread in part has roughness Rz 12.5. The surface on which the part is attached to the machine has roughness Ra 6.3 (diameter 220 mm).

If you specify the same roughness for all surfaces of the product, the roughness symbol is placed in the upper right corner of the drawing and is not applied to the image. Unspecified roughness - Ra 12.5.
