Description
The theme of the diploma project is a 16-storey residential building made of monolithic reinforced concrete. Currently, the advantage of construction of monolithic reinforced concrete is increasingly given. Its industrial development has a number of advantages. For a kind of development, it requires less capital investment in the production base: 30 ̧40% less steel consumption, energy costs by 10 ̧20%. Industrial monolithic housing construction opens up wide opportunities for improving the quality and durability of buildings, architectural expressiveness. In monolithic reinforced concrete, achievements in the field of concrete science, new composite materials, and advanced energy-saving technologies can be most fully used.
According to the above preferences for the use of monolithic reinforced concrete structures, in this diploma project monolithic structural elements are calculated and designed as a foundation slab, load-bearing walls.
