Purpose and application of the machine

Diamond-sharpening machine is intended for refinement of cutters with hard-alloy filling plates and for groove of chip breaker grooves on cutters. The machine is adapted for use in tool, experimental and production workshops with individual production.

Arrangement, operation of the machine and its components

Kinematic machine diagram is given in Figure 2.

Base 1 is a welded metal structure consisting of angles and plates fixed on the foundation using anchor bolts. Base has bearing function. Bearing assembly, electrical equipment, including electric motor, supports are attached to the base to stop the cutters during processing.

Bearing assembly 2 consists of all-metal housing, shaft, two radial thrust bearings, covers, glands, etc. Bearing assembly housing is secured to base via intermediate plate by means of screws. Driven pulley of belt gear is attached to shaft by means of key. Diamond cups or other abrasives are attached to the ends of the shaft.

Belt gear 3 consists of driving pulley mounted on electric motor shaft, driven shaft mounted on bearing assembly shaft and two wedge-shaped belts. The function of the belt transmission is to transmit torque and increase the number of revolutions.

Electrical equipment 4 consists of three-phase asynchronous motor, "ON/OFF" button, wiring and earthing.

Specifying safety measures

You cannot allow a worker to the machine without first familiarizing him with safety rules and machine maintenance instructions.

Do not adjust machine mechanisms during operation.

Cleaning and wiping, as well as lifting of the machine shall be performed during complete shutdown. In this case, the machine must be disconnected from the power grid.

The workstation of the machine should not be slippery and cluttered.

Before leaving, you must disconnect the machine from the network.

Installation and Preparation

Installation of the machine on the foundation is carried out in accordance with the installation drawing (Fig. 3).

It is necessary that the foundation is well hardened before installation of the machine. Voids and cracks in the solidified foundation are not allowed. The foundation depth is selected depending on the soil.

When laying the foundation, it is necessary to provide four wells with a section of 90x90 mm and a depth of 280 mm for foundation bolts. After reconciliation of the machine, foundation bolts are poured with cement mortar 1:3 (one part of cement into three parts of sand). After concrete hardening it is necessary to tighten the nuts of foundation bolts, checking the position of the machine by the level. The bolts must be tightened evenly and smoothly. After the foundation bolts are tightened, cement is poured under the machine and the foundation is finished.

During testing, the machine must operate smoothly, without vibrations and beating.

If there is a reinforced concrete floor, the machine can be installed without a special foundation.

Preparation of the machine for initial start-up. After completion of installation of the machine on the foundation it is necessary to:

wash the external surfaces and mechanisms of the machine. The washed outer surfaces are rubbed with a clean rag and coated with a thin layer of oil to prevent corrosion. It is not allowed to use metal objects for cleaning the machine;

fill the bearing unit with Litol24 GOST21150-87 lubricant;

tensioning of belt transmission.

Setup and operation of the machine.

To refine the incisors with solid alloy napkin plates, install a diamond ACK 125/100 C4 GOST1617270 cup on the shaft from the pulley of the belt transmission. Not allowed! Use ACK to sharpen the cutters (only for refinement).

For groove of chip breaker grooves on cutters install vulcanite on shaft on side opposite to pulley of belt transmission.

Technical purpose and application of the machine

Diamond and tool-grinding machine ARYaA.040366.001 is intended for operational development of cutters with hard-alloy napayny plates and for a pro-point of flutes of a struzhkolom on cutters. The machine is adapted for use in tool, experimental and production workshops with individual production.
