Development of assembly and welding of a spherical tank

The object of the work was a spherical tank with a volume of 600 m3.

This spherical tank is designed to store flammable liquids, liquefied gases (e.g. butane, butadiene, isobutylene), liquid ammonia, compressed gases (nitrogen, air, inert gases), liquefied light hydrocarbons, liquefied propane, liquefied helium. Steel 09G2S according to GOST 5520-79 is used for the manufacture of the tank.

Manufacture, testing and acceptance of the tank is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the rules for the design, manufacture and acceptance of welded steel vessels and apparatuses PB 03-584-03, GOST 12.1.007-76.

When operating the product, follow the explosion safety rules for explosive and fire hazardous chemical, petrochemical and production PB 03-576-03.

In the course of the work carried out, it is necessary to select a more effective process of assembly and welding of the product with the development of a technological process of assembly and welding, the development of equipment and the selection of a welding method and welding equipment.
