Introduction

The creation of new vehicle designs and the improvement of existing ones is impossible without the use of the science “Theory of Performance Properties”, which makes it possible to determine the traction-speed properties and fuel efficiency of the prototype being developed already at the design stage.

B In this work, analytical methods were used to determine the traction and speed properties and fuel -economic characteristics of the designed vehicle, taking into account the initial data. Based on the calculation results, graphs were constructed: VSV, traction balance, dynamic factor, acceleration, reciprocal acceleration values, acceleration time and distance, power balance and fuel efficiency. Next, we make changes to the design of automobile components and assemblies for a more convenient and rational use of vehicle resources and its fuel efficiency

Conclusion

As a result of the traction calculation and calculation of the fuel efficiency of the designed vehicle, graphical dependencies were obtained characterizing the traction-speed properties and fuel-economic dependencies that allow draw a conclusion about the degree of compliance of the latter with GOST and advanced world standards, as well as compare this calculation of components and assemblies of the clutch and driveshaft with the prototype and identify the advantages and disadvantages of one over the other.
