1. Purpose and objectives of coursework
The purpose of the course project is to consolidate the main provisions of the discipline "Planning, development and reconstruction of populated areas," the application of theoretical knowledge and the development of independent creative thinking in solving specific urban planning tasks.
The task of course design is to obtain in the process of the city planning project an idea of the planning structure of the city, as well as practical skills in the development and graphic expression of its urban planning concept.
Characteristics of the adopted zoning of the territory
Salvation zone.
The main sanitary requirement is the placement of the settlement zone on the windward side relative to industrial zones and upstream of the river relative to the discharges of industrial and household wastewater.
The settlement territory of the city is divided into 4 districts. The area of one district is 166 hectares. Residential areas consist of microdistricts united by the public center of the district. Three districts are divided into 6 microdistricts, and one - into 5 microdistricts. The area of one microdistrict is an average of 27 hectares.
The public center of the district occupies a territory of 3 hectares and is within walking distance of 11251400 m. Near the public district center there is a district park. A boulevard, city and public transport passes through the territory of a residential district.
The public life of the city is associated with the formation of a system of institutions and centers for cultural and consumer services. In terms of functional content, public centers can be multifunctional and specialized (medical, educational, sports, etc.). Multifunctionality is characteristic of all centers that provide comprehensive service to various territorial units of the city - residential areas, labor and recreation areas. The most multifunctional community center of the city.
General requirements for the cladding of the center: convenient connection with the residential area, the placement of the main facilities in accessibility of no more than 30 minutes of transport accessibility, isolation from transit traffic, the organization of pedestrian paths connecting all functional areas and elements of the center. Near the public center is an embankment.
The medical center is located in the southwestern part of the city near the outer borders of the settlement territory in favorable landscape conditions near the river .
The training centre is in close proximity to the community centre.
The sports center is located in the eastern part of the city next to the river.
Industrial zone.
The industry is located relative to the settlement area so as to ensure the minimum time spent on labor movements. The determining characteristics of industrial enterprises are sanitary and hygienic characteristics of industries, which significantly affect the conditions for the formation of industrial areas and the entire structure of the city.
Industrial enterprises are associated with a large cargo turnover, because of this, it is advisable to place such enterprises on the border of the settlement zone with the formation of an appropriate sanitary protection zone. To service industrial and communal storage areas, a network of industrial roads with connection to external transport links was designed, bypassing the residential area. I located industrial enterprises of city-forming significance in the west of the settlement zone, with observance of the class of harm and sanitary protection zones of 1000 m and 300 m.
Within the residential area of the city there are industrial enterprises of local importance that do not release harmful substances, with non-fire hazardous and non-explosion hazardous production processes that do not create noise that exceeds the established standards that do not require the construction of railway access roads.

Communal storage area.
In this project, the communal storage zone is designed outside the settlement territory, on the sanitary protection zone of enterprises of city-forming significance in the western part of the city and local significance in the eastern part.
External transport.
External transport serves suburban, local and long-distance transportation of passengers and cargo and is a link between urban and inter-city life processes.
All objects of external transport have their own specificity depending on the mode of transport and the nature of the flows (passenger or freight). Facilities related to passenger transportation require a large number of transport connections and communication with the citywide center. These facilities include, first of all, train stations. The bus station is located in the eastern part of the city near the citywide highway, before entering the city. Near the station there is a recreation area so that people waiting for the bus can relax there.
Landscape and recreational area.
Along with parks of urban and district significance, we provide for specialized: children's, sports. Describe all the parks!!!
The children's park is located in the southwestern part of the city. Sports near the sports center, in the eastern part of the city near the river .
Boulevards are provided in the direction of mass flows of pedestrian traffic. The location of the boulevard is determined taking into account the architectural and planning solution of the street and its development. On the boulevards there are areas for short-term rest. Also in the city designed embankments.
Landscaping scheme: the system of green spaces is divided into 3 categories:
Public use - city parks, squares, boulevards, plantings along the main streets.
Limited use - plantings in residential buildings, the territory of kindergartens, sanitary institutions, sports complexes, gardens of microdistricts.
Special use - sanitary and protective green spaces, transport routes and industry, water protection lanes, cemetery territories, nurseries.
2.5. Description of the accepted transport network of the city.
The road network forms a unified system of urban communications, providing convenient, fast and safe connections with all functional zones of the city and other settlements. The time spent in cities with a population of 100 and less than a thousand residents from the place of residence to the place of employment for 90% of workers in one end should not exceed 30 minutes by public transport. The most important for the planning of the city are movements to places of employment, service centers, recreation areas.
The planning structure of the city is determined by the configuration of the street network, which is individual and depends on the terrain, the presence of water flows on the urban territory. Based on this, I applied a linear diagram to the design. This is a scheme in which linear highways provide the necessary transport connections between the peripheral areas of the city. By providing for a unified system of transport and street network in conjunction with the planning structure of the settlement and its adjacent territory, providing convenient, fast and safe transport links with all functional zones, with other settlements, facilities located in the suburban zone, external transport facilities and roads of the common network.
The street and road network of this city is designed in the form of a continuous system taking into account the functional purpose of streets and roads, the intensity of transport, cycling and pedestrian traffic, the architectural and planning organization of the territory and the nature of development. Streets are distinguished as part of the street network: highways of citywide significance, district significance, local significance, a road in the industrial zone.
In park and boulevard recreation areas of the population and in landscaped areas, park paths are provided, isolated from streets and roads. The city has one bridge over the river on a citywide highway.
