Introduction, Boiler Unit Description
Various designs of low pressure boilers are currently being produced, including those with chimney and flame tubes, in which combustion products pass inside the tubes and water washes them outside, and water tube boilers, in which evaporated water circulates in the tubes and combustion products wash the outer surface of the tubes.
The following features are characteristic of low-steam and low-pressure water-tube boilers used by industry:
- development of convective evaporative heating surfaces, which is determined by less than necessary for water evaporation at low pressure, heat absorption of screens and economizer, completion of combustion products cooling in convective water bundle or economizer, which is possible at low temperature of feed water (80-100) and economically justified increased temperature of exhaust gases with low steam efficiency of boilers;
- absence of air heating, which simplifies the boiler design and is permissible in case of layered combustion of solid fuel and flaring of gas and fuel oil;
- double-drum scheme of activation of evaporative heating surfaces and arrangement of heated downcomer pipes of the circulation circuit of the convective bundle in the area of low temperatures of gases;
- absence of device for control of overheating temperature.
Feed water from economizer is supplied to upper drum. Water is lowered into lower drum along rear pipes of convective bundle, front pipes of which are evaporative. In addition, boiler water from the upper drum is supplied through downcomers extended beyond the heating limits to the headers of the side screens. The steam separated in the louver in the upper drum is sent to the steam line. Side walls of boilers are covered with natrub coating consisting of a layer of chamotte along a grid and several layers of insulation plates closed outside with metal skin. Boilers are equipped with a takeover return system and acute blow.
Consider the general view of the boiler DE-6.5-14GM with a combustion chamber for gas and fuel oil combustion. Steam capacity of the boiler is 6.5 t/h, steam pressure is 14MPa. For all DE boiler types, the diameter of the upper and lower drums is 1000mm. Distance between reels is 2700mm. The width of the furnace chamber along the axes of the screen pipes is 1970mm, height is 1500mm. The furnace chamber is separated from the convective bundle by a getter partition made of pipes 51 × 2 .5 m welded together. At the rear of the partition there is a window for entry of gases into the convective bundle. Pipes 51 × 2 .5 mm of the right side screen covering the floor and ceiling of the furnace are introduced directly into the upper and lower drums and connected to them by rolling; rear screen pipes are welded to upper and lower headers connected by non-heated recirculation pipe. The floor of the furnace is covered with a layer of refractory brick. The convective bundle is formed by corridor-arranged vertical pipes 51 × 2 .5 mm, rolled into drums. The boiler has longitudinal partitions in the convective bundles, which allows the gases in the bundle to turn around and the gases to exit through the rear wall of the boiler. The coating of the side walls of the boiler, 25 mm thick, consists of chamotconcrete and insulation plates 100 mm thick, fixed on the boiler pipes. Outside the coating is covered with metal skin.
