Lifting and transportation machines are the basis of complex mechanization and automation of production. The right choice of rational types of machines depends on the high-performance work of individual workshops, sites and the enterprise as a whole. An important characteristic of the operation of the conveyor is its continuity conveyor it is a system of in-line production based on moving object for assembly. This system turned the process of compiling complex products, previously required high qualifications from the collector, into routine, monotonous, low-skilled labor, significantly increasing its productivity. The arrangement of workers or machines on the conveyor assembly line is carried out taking into account the technology and sequence of assembly or processing of parts in order to achieve an effective division of labor. The study of the structure, calculation and design of mechanisms is an integral part of the course project for lifting and transportation machines, is a real engineering task. Execution of the course project allows to deepen and consolidate the theoretical course, to obtain practical skills of designing the specified machines.
