Main design solutions, composition and placement of elements.

Principle of operation.

Modular type AUPP, fire extinguishing agent - powder.

AUPP is made on the basis of modules of powder WFP (p) 2,5IGEUHL cat.3.1 (Buran2.5).

As equipment for receiving and processing signals, as well as issuing control pulses of automatic installation of powder fire extinguishing, the equipment manufactured by NVP "Bolid" (Korolev) is used:

- fire control and acceptance device "S2000ASPT" (2 pcs.);

- "S2000KPB" test and start-up unit (3 pcs);

- "S2000SP1" signal-starting unit (1 pc.);

- interface repeater "S2000PI" (1 pc.);

The C2000 control panel which is installed on a protection post on 1 floor indoors with the round-the-clock watch of service staff, is provided by the project of automatic fire alarm No. 12.06.05PSASS.

Acceptance and control equipment provides:

• monitoring of fire alarm loops condition, door condition sensors circuits, manual start-up sensor circuits;

• serviceability check of starting circuits for break and short circuit ;

• Start and control of automatic fire extinguishing modules operation;

• temporary delay before fire extinguishing means start-up;

• remote start of fire extinguishing means on command from the C2000 remote controller;

• manual start of fire extinguishing equipment from manual start sensors;

• automatic start of fire extinguishing equipment when two fire detectors are activated;

• actuation of sound and light fire warning (siren, annunciator);

• serviceability check of annunciator circuits for break and short circuit ;

• process control (ventilation shutdown);

• interlocking of automatic start-up when doors are opened to the protected room ;

• manual (from the device panel) or remote (from the C2000 console) dumping of fire alarm and the mode of start of fire extinguishing means ;

Smoke fire detectors IP 21241M are used as technical means of fire detection in protected rooms. When selecting fire detectors, environmental conditions, the purpose of the room, the probability of a fire and the dynamics of its development are taken into account.

Manual fire detectors of IPR3SU are installed to send signals to start the plant in case of visual detection of ignition.

To transmit signals to the receiving equipment, an independent low-current network is provided.

When one fire detector is activated in the alarm loop, the receiving and monitoring equipment generates a signal "Attention" with indication of the direction in which the operation occurred. When two fire detectors operate in the loop, the receiving and monitoring equipment generates a signal "Fire." Sound annunciators, "Go away powder" and "Do not enter powder" annunciators are ON. The forced ventilation system is disconnected. After a time delay of 30 sec to evacuate the maintenance personnel, if the automatic control system is in the "Automatic on" state, the receiving and control equipment outputs an electric pulse to the activators of the Buran2.5 powder fire extinguishing modules of the direction in which the detectors worked. The gas-generating element is started with intensive gas release, which leads to pressure increase inside the module body, destruction of the membrane and release of fire-extinguishing powder into the combustion zone.

Magneto-contact detectors are installed on the doors in the protected rooms, which turn off the automatic start mode of the installation when they open. Indication of OFF state is displayed on "Automatic OFF" annunciator located in front of entrances to protected rooms.

Restoration of the mode of automatic start-up is carried out manually from the front S2000ASPT dashboard and from the C2000 console.

The design provides for the issuance of control signals for the shutdown of the forced ventilation system in case of fire.

If alarm loops and start lines (break, short circuit) are damaged, sound and light signal of damage with indication of number of damaged loopback (line) is activated on the receiving equipment.

A detailed description of the principle of operation of the receiving equipment and individual elements included in the installation is given in the technical documentation of the manufacturers.

Fire extinguishing powder by the degree of exposure to the body refers to low-hazard substances of hazard class IY in accordance with GOST 12.1.00776. Irritating effect: on the mucous membrane of the eyes - weakly expressed, on the skin - absent. Powder compositions used are not toxic, do not corrode metals in dry form. After a fire, the powder can be removed with a vacuum cleaner or washed away with water.
