1. common part
1.1. The development organization of the working project is SpetsmontazSafety LLC, Rybinsk, which has a license to carry out design work.
1.2. The working design of automatic fire extinguishing units was developed for the addition of the production part to the building of the DOC OJSC "Rybinsk Cable Plant" at the address: pos. Perebory, Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region.
1.3. The initial design data was the drawings developed by the customer.
1.4. The project is developed in accordance with the requirements of:
Construction Norms and Regulations 110195 "The instruction about an order of development, coordination, a statement and structure of the project documentation on construction of the enterprises, buildings and constructions";
SNiP 2.04.0185 * "Internal water supply and sewerage of buildings";
SNiP 2.04.0284 * "Water supply. External networks and structures ";

1.5. Equipment and materials with Russian Certificates of Conformity and Fire Safety were accepted during the design.
2. brief description of the object
According to NPB 11003, the project provides for the protection of the automatic installation of fire extinguishing of the premises of the extension of the production part to the building of the DOC Rybinsk Cable Plant OJSC at the address: pos. Perebory, Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region..
Automatic fire extinguishing plants include:
Automatic water fire extinguishing units;
Automatic powder fire extinguishing units.
2.2 Characteristics of all rooms subject to protection are given on sheets "General data."
2.3. The workshop for the production of wooden containers for cable products is protected by automatic installations of water fire extinguishing.
The drum painting room is protected by an automatic powder fire extinguishing unit.
3. main design solutions
3.1 Automatic installation of water fire extinguishing
3.1.1 When choosing options for means and methods of fire extinguishing of automatic fire protection of the facility, the following main factors were considered:
functional purpose of protected premises;
fire hazard of substances involved in the process;
method of fire hazardous substances storage;
possibility of fire propagation in protected premises;
construction structures;
water and power supplies;
temperature and humidity mode of protected rooms.
3.1.2. Automatic fire extinguishing plants are designed for early detection of a fire, automatic extinguishing or localization of it and sending a fire signal to a room with round-the-clock personnel duty.
3.1.3 Based on the analysis of the factors listed in Clause 3.1.1 and the requirements of the regulatory and technical documents for extinguishing the fire in the protected rooms, an automatic water sprinkler plant was designed (direction 1).
As a fire extinguishing agent, sprayed water is used as the most economical, efficient and environmentally friendly fire extinguishing agent.
3.1.4. As a source of water supply for the plants, the project provides for the adoption of a city water pipeline, which provides for the needs of automatic fire extinguishing the flow rate of 30 l/s, among all other needs, around the clock, uninterrupted on weekends and holidays at Nmin = 20 m.
3.1.5. Due to the fact that the existing water supply at the facility provides automatic fire-fighting and internal fire-fighting water supply units with the necessary flow rate, but does not provide the design head, the project adopts booster pumps (working and standby) installed in the newly designed fire-fighting pump station on the compartment as the main water feeder. 0.000 in axes 2, V-G.
3.1.6. The plant start-up is provided for automatically when the flask of sprinklers of water sprinkler SW0Rno (o) 0, 47R1/2P68/B3 "CBH12" used as sprinklers and inducers for sprinkler plants with a flask destruction temperature of 68 0C due to the fact that the primary sign of fire hazardous materials burning is heat, and the temperature in protected rooms does not exceed 0C 25
3.1.7. The control units of the water system with "wet" valve of the AVD911B type with the delay chamber, Chang Der pressure switch are selected as the control units of the sprinkler plants of the design; Taiwan, control units are installed in the pumping station .
3.1.8. In order to avoid false actuations of control units of sprinkler plants and to ensure high-quality water filling of pipelines of these plants, the design provides for the installation of cork cranes as air exhaust devices.
3.1.9. Flushing of dead end and ring feed pipelines is provided through the coupling head MM50.
3.1.10. In order to provide in the pipelines of fire extinguishing plants the pressure required for actuation of control units, the design provides an automatic water feeder - a make-up pump-jockey of type CR 1-6 with an electric motor of 0.37 kW and with an intermediate reservoir of vertical V = 60l of type Reflex DE60. The pump jockey operates automatically.
3.1. 11. The estimated fire-fighting time is 1 hour.
3.1.12. Main equipment (sprinklers, control units, etc.) have certificates of conformity and fire safety.
3.2.1. To automate and signal the operation of water fire extinguishing plants, the project uses the Potok3N fire control device, which has the following certificates: SSPB.RU.UP001.B05145, ROSS RU.BB02.N02973, which is part of the complex of technical facilities of the integrated safety system "Orion," produced by NPP, "Moscow."
3.2.2. For switching of power circuits of electric motors of fire pumps (PN), pump - "Jockey" cabinets of control and start-up SKP, versions of SKP18, SKP-4 are used.
3.2.3. For automatic control of two fire pumps and the Jockey pump, the Potok3N fire control device, configuration No. 4, is used, which provides:
- automatic fire extinguishing mode start-up with fire pumps start-up;
- remote start of fire extinguishing mode with fire pumps starting from button on DP;
- controlled delay of setting to the mode of the main fire pump 10 sec;
- automatic pump control - "Jockey";
- automatic switching of power supply circuits from the main input to the backup start in case of voltage failure at the main input;
- automatic check:
supply voltages of fire pumps and pumps - "Jockey";
control of starting mode;
control of automatic starting of operating fire pump;
control of fire pumps starting;
- light signalling:

In addition to the light on the device there is an audio alarm:

LCC cabinets and Potok3N instrument are located in the pump station.
3.2.4. For reception of information from liquid flow annunciators intended for detection of ignition address and NR pressure annunciator installed on control units, "Signal-20" fire control and protection device is designed
The C2000M control panel is intended for display and indication of a condition of the equipment, and also remote control of actuators.
The C2000M control panel and the device reception and control "Signal-20" are installed in dispatching office with the round-the-clock personnel on duty.
3.2.5. Automatic water fire extinguishing plants belong to consumers of the first category of reliability of power supply and, according to PUE, are provided by two independent power sources. Backup power supplies with batteries are used as backup input in control circuits.
Electrical circuits are protected according to PUE. Thermal and maximum protection devices in control circuits are not provided, disconnection of which can lead to failure of fire extinguishing agent supply to the fire source.
3.3 Automatic installation of powder fire extinguishing.
3.3.1 Installation of powder fire extinguishing of drum painting room is made on the basis of WFP (p) 2.5 "Buran-2.5VZG" powder fire extinguishing modules in explosion-proof design. Calculation of the number of modules required for fire extinguishing is carried out on the condition of ensuring uniform irrigation of the area taking into account spray diagrams .
3.3.2. Powder fire extinguishing plants have two types of start-up:
• Automatic operation of at least two fire detectors installed in the room;
• Remote from the remote start buttons located at the entrance to the room.
There is no local launch for modular fire extinguishing.
3.3.3. Control of installation of powder fire extinguishing is exercised by means of the device reception and control and managements of "S2000ASPT" version 2.03 which is a part of the integrated Orion system and provides:
• Monitoring of 2 fire alarm loops;
• Check of condition of door sensor circuits;
• Actuation of powder fire extinguishing modules at actuation of two fire detectors;
• Temporary delay of fire extinguishing equipment start-up;
• Remote start of means of powder fire extinguishing from the C2000M console;
• Automatic start-up interlocking when doors are opened to the protected room;
• Backup battery power;
• Control of warning devices: Light-sound alarm "Powder Leave!" and light alarm "Powder - do not enter!."
3.3.4. Fire detection in the drum painting room is performed by IP1034/1 IAC-IB heat fire detectors in intrinsically safe version, connected to "S2000ASPT" instrument through the instrument ensuring intrinsic safety of "Korund1I" circuits.
3.3.5. Automatic powder fire extinguishing plants belong to consumers of the first category of reliability of power supply and, according to PUE, are provided by two independent power sources. Backup power supplies with batteries are used as backup input in control circuits.
5.1. Water fire extinguishing units.
5.1.1 Under normal operating conditions, all pipelines of water sprinkler plants are filled with water and are at a pressure of 0.35 MPa maintained by the jockey pump.
5.1.2. When a fire occurs in a certain area, when the air temperature under the overlap above the fire center exceeds the destruction temperature of the sprinkler flask, the flask is destroyed and the sprinkler is opened.
As a result, the pressure in the piping system drops above the control unit. The unit is opened and water under pressure of automatic water feeder is supplied to sprinklers.
5.1.3. The pump takes water from the water supply network and pumps it to the network of pipelines of fire extinguishing units, while the automatic water feeder - pump - "Jockey" is automatically disconnected by the check valve.
5.1.4. The control unit operates, the pressure in the pipelines drops, electric contact pressure gauges on the pressure pipeline of fire pumps are actuated, the contacts of which are used to start the working fire pump and are switched on according to the "or" scheme. In addition, the pressure switch installed on the control unit operates.
Operating fire pump is switched on. When the fire pump is switched on, the "Jockey" pump is automatically switched off by the check valve. In case of failure to start the working fire pump or if it does not create the design pressure within 10 seconds, the standby fire pump is switched on.
5.2. Powder fire extinguishing units.
5.2.1. Automatic start of the units is performed when two automatic smoke detectors installed in the drum painting room are activated. In accordance with item 13.3 of NPB 882001 *, three smoke fire detectors IP1034/1 "IAC IB" are installed in the drum painting room.
When one detector is activated, "Attention" signal is generated.
In the room, the light and sound alarm "Powder - Leave!" Is turned on. After 30 sec the command pulse for fire extinguishing start is generated. The "Powder-Leave!" alarm is turned off, the "Powder-Don't Enter!" light is turned on above the entrance to the protected room.
5.2.2. Remote start of the plant is provided from the remote start button installed outside the protected room and protected from accidental start.
5.2.3. When the door is opened into the protected room, the automatic start of the installation is blocked. At the same time, before entering the protected room, the light alarm of the operating mode of the installation on the annunciator installed above the entrance to the room is activated.
5.2.4. Restoration of the mode of automatic start-up of installation is carried out from premises of dispatching office with the round-the-clock personnel on duty from the C2000M control panel.
