Introduction:

Metal cutting machines are the main type of factory equipment intended for the production of modern machines, instruments, tools and other products, therefore the number and quality of metal cutting machines, their technical equipment to a large extent characterizes the production power of the country.

Currently, one of the most important technological operations is milling. There are a large number of machines on which the following operations can be carried out:

milling of flat surfaces and ledges;

milling of key slots on shafts;

milling of T-shaped slots and dovetail slots;

milling splines on cylindrical and conical surfaces;

milling various grooves;

milling of spur gears;

milling of shaped surfaces;

In the task given to me, it is necessary to design the drive of the main movement of a high-speed milling machine with the dimensions of the working surface of the table 1600 * 400 mm.

Machines of this type are used for high-speed milling of the planes and ledges of various details, grooves of various configuration, shaped surfaces, etc. by various mills: trailer, face, disk and shaped.

Description of tool electromechanical clamp operation

The operation of the device is based on the principle of actuating a clamping shompole moving along the spindle axis of the machine from the electromechanical head of the tool clamp. Shompol has

T-shaped head, which enters T-shaped slot of grip, which is previously screwed into milling mandrel.

The head is driven by an asynchronous motor.

When electric motor is switched on, levers turn about axes under action of centrifugal force and move bushing in axial direction with shoulders.

Bushing moves rod and half-coupling mounted on its end in bearings through pin.

Half-coupling is engaged with splined roller by cams. Rotary motion from electric motor is transmitted through eccentric roller, planetary gear mechanism, splined joint of half-coupling gears. Half-coupling with cams engaged transmits rotation to splined roller. Roller is connected through splines to actuator of tool clamping.
