Introduction

The purpose of course design is to consolidate and deepen knowledge of the theory, design and operation of ship internal combustion engines, as well as to obtain practical skills in assessing the effectiveness of new equipment products.

In this course project, it is necessary to fulfill the task of developing design documentation at the stage of the preliminary design, independently solve the problem of creating a promising ship's diesel engine, taking into account the requirements for cost effectiveness and processability. It is also necessary to perform the following tasks: on the basis of the existing methodology, select and justify the parameters of the working process and the design of the diesel engine that meet the specified technical requirements, and compile the engine technological characteristic. Based on the layout and design solutions of the serial motors, sketch the general views and main nodes.

Conclusion

During the development of this course project, the knowledge obtained from lectures and practical exercises in the discipline Ship internal combustion engines was fixed.

During the development of the project, the ICE cycle was calculated using the Grinevetsky-Mazing method. Engine indicator diagram is built, cylinder bushing and pressurizing system are designed.

Technical design skills were obtained for work with literature, lecture materials and practice.
