Description
Auger is working part of mechanism intended for transportation of load by movement along rotating screw surface inside pipe. The auger is a conveying device for loose, fine, pulverized, powdered materials. Screws are used at enterprises for the production of construction materials, in the feed, flour and chemical industries for the movement in horizontal, vertical and inclined directions of loose, fine, pulverized, powdered materials (as a rule, up to 40 m horizontally and up to 30 m vertically). In machine shops, it is used to transport drain chips from machine tools.
