Introduction

Structures of industrial buildings, like civilians, consist of separate elements connected in a single system. Individual building elements - slabs and floor beams, columns, walls, etc. - must have strength and stability, sufficient rigidity, crack resistance and participate in the general work of the building. When you load one of the building elements, other elements are included in the work, and the spatial system works. The building as a whole must be reliably resistant to deformation in the horizontal direction under the influence of various loads and impacts, i.e. it must have sufficient spatial rigidity.

Structural diagrams of buildings meeting the specified requirements can be frame and panel (arceless), multi-storey and single-storey. Frame of one-story building is composed of columns embedded in foundation and girders articulated or rigidly connected with columns.

The framework of the multi-storey building is formed by the main vertical and horizontal elements - columns and girders.

The purpose of this course work is to design in prefabricated reinforced concrete the main load-bearing structures of a single-story frame production building with bridge cranes.
