Connection of the traffic light object is performed to the lighting line with setting of the circuit breaker against short-circuit currents .

Installation of electronic type electric power metering counter is provided in the SHO cabinet. The counter must be sealed .

Lay the 3x4 IWG power cable in trenches in the PCB pipe 50 at a depth of 0.7 m to the road controller. Traffic lights shall be connected by control cables of KVVG grade 14x1.0 laid in trenches in PCB pipes at a depth of 0.7 m.

At the intersection with the roadway at a depth of 1 m from the ground surface according to the cable plan. On the support, protect the cable with a metal pipe at a height of 2.0m and 0.5 meters in the ground.

The ground device of the traffic light object shall be made in accordance with the requirements of PUE 7. On equipment that may be energized as a result of an insulation failure, ensure reliable contact with the grounding device. When connecting the grounding conductors to the control cabinet housing and the supports of the traffic lights, perform welding or a reliable bolt connection. The use of earth as a phase or zero wire is prohibited.

Grounding of traffic light columns shall be performed on the ground circuit of the road controller according to specially provided wires of control cables .

For the grounding circuit of the controller, use strip steel 50x5 with a length of 5 m and depth grounding made of steel galvanized rods .

Depth of laying in the soil is 0.6 m. The maximum permissible value of the ground circuit resistance of the traffic light object road controller shall not exceed 10 ohms.
