Machines for cleaning crushed stone and replacing ballast are divided into the following main groups: high-performance machines with a shallow depth of crushed stone purification (SCHOM-D, SCHOM-DO, SCHOM-4, SCHOM-4M, BMS, etc.); machines for mechanical cleaning (replacement) of ballast (UM-M, UM-S, SCHOM-6R, etc.); machines for deep cleaning (replacement) of crushed stone (RM-80, RM-76, SCH-600, SCH-601, SCHU-800, AHM-80, SCHOM-6B, etc.).

This course project considers the crushed stone cleaning machine SCHOM-1200, used in railway transport during medium and major repairs of the railway track to restore the elasticity of the crushed stone layer and its drainage properties, as well as to improve the bearing capacity of the ballast prism. The purpose of this course project is to modernize the crushed stone cleaning device (screen) of this machine.

In order to increase productivity and replace the imported screen with a screen of domestic production, the screen of the crushed stone cleaning machine SCHOM-1200 was replaced by a high-frequency vibration screen GVCH-41. This modernization will increase the productivity of the machine and reduce its cost.

Introduction

Periodic restoration of physical and mechanical characteristics and geometric parameters of the crushed stone ballast prism is carried out by cleaning crushed stone or, in case of non-compliance of the laid ballast with the required characteristics, due to its complete replacement with solid crushed stone by crushed stone cleaning machines and ballast replacement.

The ballast prism shall ensure vertical and horizontal stability of the rail-slide grid when subjected to train load, uniform distribution of pressure from sleepers to as large an area as possible of the main platform of the roadway, have as much equilibrium along and across the track as possible and ensure the least unevenness of residual deformations during operation of the railway track.

Modern requirements for the ballast prism, the quality of crushed stone cleaning, the frequency of its cleaning largely determine the parameters of crushed stone cleaning machines and ballast replacement, as well as methods of work taking into account the specific state of the railway track and the type of its repair. Solid crushed stone cleaning or ballast replacement is mainly carried out with enhanced capital and medium, as well as major and medium track repairs.

Crushed stone cleaning and ballast replacement machines are divided into the following main groups: high-performance machines with a low depth of crushed stone cleaning (SHMD, SHCHOM-DO, SHCHOM4, SHCHOM-4M, BMS, etc.); machines for end cleaning (replacement) of ballast (UMM, UM-S, SHCHOM6R, etc.); cars for deep purification (replacement) of crushed stone (RM80, RM-76, SCh600, SCh-601, SChU800, AHM-80, ShchOM6B, etc.).

The purpose of this course project is to modernize the crushed stone cleaning device (screen) of this machine.

Patent Literature Analysis

Crushed stone cleaning machine is used in railway transport during medium and overhaul of the railway track to restore the elasticity of the crushed stone layer and its drainage properties, as well as to improve the bearing capacity of the ballast prism.

The first crushed stone cleaning machines were created in the USSR in the 40s of the XX century, and on the railway - in the early 1950s. Machines on the railway track cleaned crushed stone along the entire width of the ballast prism: ballast was taken out of the way by bucket chains and fed into cylindrical rotating screens, through the holes of which contaminants and small (dust) fractions of crushed stone fell on the conveyor and were thrown to the side of the track. Cleaned ballast fell into the way. The introduction of progressive technology, in which heavy-type machines in a certain sequence repair the path to the "windows," required the development of a fundamentally new machine that works with greater performance.

Self-propelled crushed stone cleaning machines manufactured for the world's railways have scraping or bucket pouring devices. For cleaning crushed stone, vibration rochots are often used. Such crushed stone cleaning machines provide greater cleaning depth, but have lower productivity than crushed stone cleaning machines with a centrifugal ballast cleaning method.

Conclusion

In this course project, the ShchOM1200 crushed stone cleaning machine used in railway transport during medium and overhaul of the railway track was considered to restore the elasticity of the crushed stone layer and its drainage properties, as well as to improve the bearing capacity of the ballast prism. The purpose of this course project was to modernize the crushed stone cleaning device (screen) of this machine, namely, replacing the screen with high-frequency vibration screen GVCh41.

The lathe device was calculated, vibration screen parameters were calculated, labor protection instructions were presented during operation, transportation, repair of the machine, as well as environmental protection measures.
