Description
The Mednitsky department performs maintenance and repair of radiators and fuel tanks of rolling stock. Faults that cannot be eliminated at car maintenance and repair posts are removed from cars and sent to the medical department for diagnosis and repair. Elements of radiators and fuel tanks to be repaired are sorted, defective ones are replaced with new or previously repaired ones. They are also cleaned from deposits and washed. Repaired radiators are checked and then returned to the same car. If the repair time is longer than the car downtime in maintenance and repair, then the faulty unit is replaced with a serviceable one from the revolving fund, and the faulty one is returned to the warehouse after repair.
