Introduction

Engineering, representing new equipment by sectors of the national economy, determines the technical progress of the country. Process preparation is part of the production process. Its task is to ensure processability of the product design, development of technological processes.

Process development includes: analysis of initial data, selection of workpiece, selection of technological bases, preparation of routing processing, development of transitions, selection of equipment and tools, determination of cutting modes, etc.

The purpose of the process development is to select the most efficient methods and means of manufacturing the part.

The development of the engineering industry contributes to the improvement of the well-being of society. The work of engineering specialists is becoming more and more complex and interesting. It is mechanical engineering that is the main branch of the national economy, which determines the possibility of developing other industries.

Conclusion

This course work consolidates, deepens and summarizes the knowledge gained during lecture and practical classes in the course "Engineering Technology." During the course work, a complex task is performed, in the solution of which the use of reference literature, GOST and tables helped.
