Introduction
Engineering is one of the leading industries of the national economy of our country. It produces machines, equipment, devices and devices, as well as defense products.
Scientific and technological progress in mechanical engineering largely determines the development and improvement of the entire national economy of the country. Increasing productivity, improving the efficiency of social production and improving the quality of production are important conditions for accelerating scientific and technological progress.
The improvement of technological methods of manufacturing machines is of the highest priority. The quality of machines, reliability, longevity and economy during operation depend not only on the improvement of their design, but also on production technology. The application of advanced high-efficiency processing methods ensures high accuracy and quality of surfaces of machine parts, efficient use of modern automatic and flow lines of electric computers and other new technologies.
An important task of mechanical engineering is to change the structure of production in order to improve the quality of the characteristics of machines and equipment. Particular importance is attached to the modernization of engineering itself, the technical level of which depends on machine tool engineering, instrument engineering, electronics.
Select Procurement Method
For the manufacture of a part, the choice of the rational type of the original workpiece and the method of its production plays a large role. The most widely used methods for producing blanks are casting, metal forming and welding, as well as combinations thereof. The most common method of producing steel blanks of machine parts is pressure treatment. Forging, stamping and rental are distinguished.
Selection criteria for procurement type.
The first criterion for selecting a workpiece type is the material from which the part is made:
steel - rolled stock, forging, stamping, less often - casting;
cast iron - various casting methods;
zv. metals - rolled stock, casting, less often - stamping.
The second criterion is the technological capabilities of each type:
for parts of a simple shape, rolled stock is preferred; for parts of medium and large sizes of simple shape with large size differences - forging; less preferable, because of the high cost, casting or stamping; for complex parts, casting or stamping.
