The purpose of this work is to design the drive. The most significant part of the task is the calculation and design of the gearbox. A reduction gear is a mechanism consisting of gear or worm gears, made in the form of a separate unit and serving to transfer rotation from the shaft of the engine to the shaft of the working machine. The purpose of the reduction gear is to reduce the angular speed and, accordingly, increase the torque of the driven shaft compared to the driving one. The reduction gear consists of a housing, in which the transmission elements are placed - gears, shafts, bearings, etc. In some cases, devices for lubrication or cooling of engagements and bearings are placed in the gearbox housing. Reducers classify by the following main signs: as transfer (gear, worm, gear and worm), on number of steps (one-stage, two-level, etc.), as cogwheels (cylindrical, conic), on relative location of shafts (horizontal, vertical).
