Description

The thesis project consists of an explanatory note and a graphic section. The explanatory note consists of the following sections:

1. Feasibility Study. The rationale for the choice of the refrigeration system layout is presented and the equipment used in this project is briefly described.

2. Design and Technology Section. This section includes the calculation and selection of the refrigerator layout, the calculation of the insulation layer thickness for the enclosures, the calculation of heat gains, the calculation and selection of chamber and compressor equipment, and a description of the refrigeration system layout.

3. Special Section of the Thesis: Methods for Reducing Shrinkage of Fruits and Vegetables during Storage. This section examines the factors influencing the shrinkage of fruits and vegetables during storage, the effect of temperature on the shrinkage rate of various products, and the relationship between the load in the chamber and shrinkage.

The graphic section is presented on 4 sheets of A1 format.

The first sheet shows a plan of the refrigeration unit, indicating the rooms, platforms, locations of chamber cooling units, and piping. The dimensions of the column grid and equipment layout are indicated.

The second sheet shows a diagram of the refrigeration unit, indicating all the elements included in this thesis. The positions of equipment and fittings are shown.

The third sheet shows a plan of the compressor shop, showing the location of the compressor equipment, window and door openings, the column grid, and equipment installation dimensions.
