Description

In this course project, a gas supply system for the settlement is being developed. The construction area is Yelabuga.

Gas field – Urengoyskoye 2.

Freezing depth for loams and clays is 1.1 m; 

Gas pipelines should be laid at a depth of at least 0.8 m to the top of the gas pipeline or case.

Soils with the same degree of heaving are accepted. With the uniformity of heaving soils, the depth of laying the gas pipeline to the top of the pipe should be:

- not less than 0.7 of the standard freezing depth, but not less than 0.9 for medium-heaving soils;

- not less than 0.8 of the standard freezing depth, but not less than 1.0 for strongly and excessively heaving soils.

Gas distribution systems consist of low, medium and high pressure gas networks, gas distribution stations, gas control points and installations. Gas pipelines are classified according to gas pressure and purpose. There are two levels of urban gas supply systems – upper and lower. Accordingly, the first level is made up of medium (high) pressure gas pipelines, the second is low-pressure gas pipelines.

Low-pressure gas pipelines are designed to supply gas to residential, public buildings and consumer service enterprises. Medium and high pressure gas pipelines supply gas to large industrial enterprises and low-pressure urban distribution networks and are made in the form of a ring, a half ring or in the form of beams.
