Introduction

Gas supply is the provision of natural gas to buildings for various purposes, in which the distribution network of a settlement supplies gas through a gas pipeline directly to gas equipment installed at gas consumers.

What you need gas for. How much it is in demand:

Gas is extracted specifically from the subsoil of the earth to promote economic, industrial and other human abilities. Thanks to natural gas, a variety of enterprises, plants, mills can successfully operate. It is thanks to him that people's homes constantly have heat in central heating pipes, which means that the boiler houses of cities and districts successfully operate on gas fuel. Natural gas makes it much easier for housewives to work, since all the food that is cooked in the house is made with gas stoves.

There is also methane and propane gas, which recently has become profitable to refuel cars, buses, which saves enough money due to the cheapness of this type of fuel.

Gasification of the Altai Territory began in 1995 with the commissioning of the Novosibirsk-Barnaul gas pipeline.

Today, 4.4 thousand km of gas pipelines have been laid in the region, 120 thousand households and 1310 boiler houses have been gasified.

Natural gas flows to 77 settlements located in 4 cities (Barnaul, Biysk, Novoaltaysk, Belokurikha) and 12 districts (Kalmansky, Pavlovsky, Talmensky, Pervomaisky, Kosikhinsky, Troitsky, Zonalny, Biysk, Altai, Soviet, Smolensky, Krasnogorsk).

In 2016, 165.5 km of gas networks were built in the Altai Territory, which allowed gas to be launched in 17 boiler houses and 3.7 thousand residential buildings in Barnaul, Biysk, Pervomaisky, Kalmansky, Pavlovsky, Troitsky and Biysk districts of the region. In addition, at the expense of the regional budget, 42 km of an internal village gas pipeline were built in from Kalmanka, providing the possibility of connecting all houses of the village to gas.

Another significant point of gasification was the beginning of the construction of a gas pipeline-outlet and a gas distribution station (GRS) in from Rebrich.

The total length of the gas pipeline will reach 75 km. It is planned that the facility will be commissioned in the 4th quarter of 2017.

After the construction of the gas pipeline to Rebrikha and the launch of the GRS, gasification of the nearest areas will be organized: Tyumentsevsky, Mamontovsky and Topchikhinsky.

Also among the important events in 2016 is the start of the construction of a high-pressure gas pipeline to the facilities of the Belokurikh2 resort subcluster and the Siberian Compound tourist subcluster.

In 2017, the Altai Territory plans to build 150 km of gas pipelines, commission 21 gas boilers and gasify 4 thousand households.

In addition, gas will continue to be delivered to the houses of residents of Barnaul, Biysk, Novoaltaysk, as well as Altai, Biysk, Zonal, Kalmansky, Koshikhinsky, Pavlovsky, Pervomaisky, Smolensk, Soviet and Troitsky districts.

From Rebrich, 6 gas supply facilities will be built, from which it will be possible to gasify almost 1.2 thousand households and 1 boiler house.

Conclusion

As a result of the course project, skills were gained in developing a project for gas networks in the Barnaul region, and a hydraulic calculation of the design gas supply system was also carried out. The metal consumption of a variant with one GRP is 5804.2 kg, with two 5889.2 kg, but from the calculations we see that the II version of gasification has overall pressure losses significantly lower than the I version of gasification, and also with the II version there is no crossing the road, which means this option will be less expensive.

The gas control unit PGB (K) 50 was selected, equipped with the necessary equipment, such as the pressure regulator RDK50N, a PSK25N type safety relief valve, a gas filter of the FG50 type and a stationary flammable gas detector SGG6M.
