Automatic installation of powder fire extinguishing is designed to detect and extinguish a fire with simultaneous alarm in the personnel on duty room about the start of the plant operation and the state of its main parameters.
Automatic fire alarm is designed for early detection of a fire, warning people about a fire and sending an alarm notification to the operator's room (place of 24-hour duty).
The warning system is designed to alert people about a fire and other crisis situations.
Brief description of the protected object
Warehouse room located at elev. 0.000 in axes 14; A-D, separated from other rooms by type I fire wall (REI 150).
The storage room is heated, belongs to category "B1" as per NPB 10503, class as per PUE - P-I .
Dust, smoke, vibration and aggressiveness of the medium are absent.
Warehouse area - 372.4 m2, height - 7.2 m.
Storage of materials is carried out on racks 4.5 m high.
The remaining rooms of the building shall be protected by the automatic fire alarm system, with the exception of the rooms of category "D," "B4," staircases and rooms with wet processes.
Process Part
Based on fire and explosion hazard indicators, aggregate state of substances and materials, degree of room tightness and features of fire development, fire extinguishing powder is accepted as fire extinguishing agent.
The plant consists of one section protecting the entire warehouse area and the tiers of racks.
The extinguishing mechanism consists in isolation of combustible medium and inhibition of active centers during combustion.
To protect the warehouse premises (section 1), a pulse automatic installation of powder fire extinguishing based on certified modules of WFP (R) -7-I-GE-UKhL cat.3.1 (trademark "Garant7") specification 4854002580107302005 is adopted.
The application of this type of modules is the most optimal taking into account the height of the room, the height of storage, the angle of spraying of the modules, spray diagrams with the provision of protection of materials located on the racks.
The main modules are installed in the protected room on rigid floor structures taking into account the direction of powder discharge down.
The number of modules, their installation places are determined in accordance with the requirements of the current regulatory documents and the instructions of the product passport, taking into account the technical characteristics of the modules.
To protect the harvesting equipment room (section 2), the WFP powder fire extinguishing module (P) 2,5IGEUHL cat.3.1 (Buran2.5 trademark) TU 48540044030223197 with rev.2 with self-treatment function is used.
Certified general purpose fire extinguishing powders are used as OTS in modules.
In order to increase the level of fire protection of premises and tighten possible combustion centers at the facility, manual fire extinguishing equipment and internal fire water supply are used.
Automatic installation of powder fire extinguishing
The electrical part of the powder fire extinguishing unit provides for:
- - automatic start of fire extinguishing unit at actuation of at least two
smoke line detectors IP21252M (IPDL52M);
- remote start-up of installation from the S2000ASPT device, the C2000 remote controller installed indoors with the round-the-clock watch (premises of operator) and the button of remote start-up installed at an entrance to warehouse fuel and lubricants;
- blocking of automatic start-up at the entrance to the protected room (operation on doors of limit switches) and from the device "" S2000ASPT"", the remote controller
"" C-2000 "";
- shutdown and restoration of the mode of automatic start-up from the S2000ASPT device, the C2000 remote controller;
- warning light and sound alarm in the protected room about the plant start-up, actuated 10 s before the fire extinguishing agent supply, (annunciator "" Powder! Go away! "");
- light alarm at the inputs to the protected room on powder output
(annunciator "" Powder! Do not enter! "");
- light signalling at the inputs to the protected room on automatic starting disconnection (annunciator "Aut. Off. "");
- check of sound and light signalling serviceability (test-start unit "" S2000-KPB "");
- serviceability check of electric control circuits of electric igniters of powder modules (test and start-up unit "S2000-KPB");
- generation of command pulse for ventilation shutdown.
Automatic fire alarm and fire warning system
Smoke optoelectronic detectors are used as technical means of fire detection by automatic fire alarm system
IP 2123SU, linear smoke detectors IP21252M.
Manual IPR3SU detectors are provided to provide notification of fire occurrence in case of visual detection of sunburns.
As equipment for receiving signals about fire detectors operation
the reception and control C20004 device is accepted.
The project provided the sound warning system of people about the fire (the Blik3S12 annunciator the inscription "Fire") and installation on escape routes of svetoukazatel the Exit (Blik312 annunciator).
Power supply
Automatic installation of fire extinguishing, fire alarm and warning of people about fire is a consumer of electricity of category I, and its power supply is provided from 2 independent power sources:
main input - from AC mains voltage 220 V, 50 Hz;
standby input - from standby power supply units.
Automatic installation of powder fire extinguishing
The project provides for automatic start of the fire extinguishing unit
(section 1).
In standby mode "Garant7" modules are de-energized. When at least two fire detectors are activated, the warning light and sound alarm Powder! Leave!. After 10 s after actuation of the warning alarm, the DC pulse is transmitted to the starting devices of the powder modules (electric activator). When an electric pulse is supplied in the gasifiers located inside the powder modules, a chemical reaction begins, followed by intensive gas release, which leads to an increase in pressure, a once-collapse of the protective membrane and the release of fire extinguishing powder into the combustion zone. Instantaneous actuation of modules (not more than 10 s) and duration of action (not more than 1 s) contributes to effective fire suppression in foci of any complexity. Uniform deposition of powder on surfaces prevents re-ignition.
When the powder modules are activated, the electric igniter circuit breaks. The warning light and sound alarm is turned off and the light alarm of powder output is turned on.
Operation in remote control mode is allowed only for the period of routine or repair works.
Powder start-up shall be ensured within a minimum period of time (about 60 s from the moment of fire occurrence) as pulse units are effective in the early stages of fire.
In section 2 "Buran2.5" module is self-operating when temperature reaches 85 С.
