Description
In the operation of motor vehicles, issues arise regarding fast and quality repairs. Often, defects in threaded connections appear during repairs, known as thread stripping. What should be done? There are various technologies for restoring stripped or worn threads, such as using composite polymer materials, installing bushings, or installing spiral thread inserts. Almost all methods have been developed by Western companies.
We offer our inexpensive and effective method of restoring threads using special thread inserts. A spiral thread insert is a spring-like spiral made of high-strength chromium-nickel stainless steel (12X18H9T), with a special diamond-shaped cross-section where the sharp angles of the diamond are equal to 60°, meaning they correspond to the profile of metric threads.
