Development of the design of a two-spindle CNC lathe

The purpose of the course project on MRS is to develop the design of a two-spindle CNC lathe C29.

TERMS OF REFERENCE

To achieve this goal at the first stage of design, it is necessary to solve a number of tasks:

1. To conduct a patent and licensing analysis of foreign and domestic analogues of the designed machine.

2. To conduct a systematic analysis of existing models of the same type of equipment in the modern machine-tool market.

3. In the technological part of the calculation work, it is necessary to calculate the accuracy class of the machine, select the necessary electric motor for driving the main feeds and give the characteristics of the cutting tool used for processing a typical part.

4. Develop the layout and general appearance of the designed machine.

5. Develop the design of the spindle assembly.

6. Make an assembly drawing of the drive corner unit with specifications, a general view drawing of the machine.

The CTX 310 ecoline machine was chosen as a prototype.
