Development of a set of design documentation for a non-motorized cargo trolley model 18-578.

Project objective: creation of a complete set of design and operational documentation for a complex mechanical engineering product (car bogie) in accordance with the current ESKD standards. As part of the project, work was carried out on reverse engineering of the model 18-578 bogie.

Design object: Two-axle non-motorized bogie model 18-578, designed for rolling under freight cars of mainline railways with a gauge of 1520 mm.

Composition of the completed works:

3. Development of operational documentation4. Numerical modeling (FEM). Analysis of the stress-strain state of the bogie under various operational loads.

Comparison and verification of results of analytical and numerical calculations. The only 3D model of the 18-578 bogie on the Internet, supplied with fully completed technical documentation.
