Introduction.
The purpose of the course project is to design the drive of the chain conveyor.
Chain conveyor - a continuous transport machine for the horizontal movement of piece goods, installed in a heated room. The designed chain conveyor drive consists of an asynchronous electric motor with a cylindrical two-stage reduction gear, as well as a drive shaft with two sprockets for a traction circuit according to GOST 58881 with an elastic safety clutch. IM 1081 motor design, degree of protection IP44.
Components of the drive are an asynchronous electric motor, a chain drive, a two-stage cylindrical reduction gear, an elastically protective clutch, and a drive shaft.
The drive device is as follows: torque is transmitted from the electric motor to the input shaft of the reduction gear from the coupling; from output shaft of reduction gear box through elastic safety clutch to drive shaft.
You need to perform the necessary calculations, select the best diagram parameters and develop design documentation for the manufacture of the drive:
- gearbox general view drawing (at sketched design stage);
- gearbox assembly drawing (at the technical design stage);
- working drawings of gear box parts;
- drawing of general view of elastic coupling;
- general view drawing of the drive;
- calculation and explanatory note and specifications;
Kinematic calculation.
To design a chain conveyor, first of all, you need to select an electric motor. To do this, we determine the power consumed by the driving device, we evaluate the efficiency of the drive. Then we specify the gear ratios of the reduction gear, count the torque on the drive shafts. Thus, the initial data for calculating transmissions will be determined.
