Introduction

A winch is a mechanism for lifting and moving weights in a horizontal plane. The torque in the winch is transmitted by means of a flexible element. The flexible element may be a steel cable, rope, sling or belt, etc. Winches are used in many areas: during loading and unloading, installation, repair, storage, etc. Thus, winches are used almost always when a person deals with heavy loads that he cannot lift and carry on his own.

With the advent of road transport, winches found many more applications. Currently, car winches, mechanical winches, electric winches can be purchased. As a rule, there are several goals for installing a winch on a car. The most common: the winch serves to lift loads on board the car, the winch serves to help the car overcome road obstacles when it is not possible to leave on its own. The installation of a winch on a car becomes even more relevant in our country, due to one of our eternal problems - roads, as well as their absence.

The principle of operation of all winches is approximately the same. The most important difference is the drive. Hand winches: the cable is wound on the drum, manually, the torque to which is transmitted through a reduction gear, or driven by a lever (lever winches). Such winches are used very widely, most often for moving light loads over short distances.

For heavier loads, electric winches are suitable - telpheres. The supply voltage required for such winches is standard: 220 and 380V. The most reliable method for transmitting torque on electric winches for lifting heavy loads is worm gear. It ensures that the cable does not break from the winch drum even in the event of a breakdown. Gear gears are also widely used.

The implementation of the course project on "Machine Parts" completes the general technical cycle of student training. In performing my work, knowledge from a number of subjects passed is actively used: mechanics, material resistance, metal technologies, etc.

The object of the course design is a drive with a cylindrical two-stage reduction gear, using most general-purpose parts and assemblies.

Gearboxes of these types, characterized by high efficiency, reliability and durability in operation, make up the bulk of gearboxes manufactured in series, and are widely used in all industries.

Most gearworks for general purpose gearboxes adopt a design with helical gears, wherein two-stage and three-stage gearboxes usually have an asymmetrical arrangement of the wheels relative to the supports. The main advantage of these gearboxes is the simplicity of their design, and the disadvantage is the asymmetrical arrangement of the wheels, which causes an uneven distribution of the load across the width of the gears and on the bearings. And for heavy-duty gears, mainly two-speed gears with a symmetrical arrangement of gears are common.

Conclusion

In mechanical engineering, reducers, mechanisms consisting of gear or worm gears made in the form of a separate unit and serving to transfer power from the engine to the working machine are widely used. The kinematic drive circuit may include, in addition to the gearbox, open gears, chain or belt gear.

The purpose of the reduction gear is to reduce the angular speed and increase the torque of the driven shaft compared to the driving shaft. Mechanisms for increasing angular velocity are made in the form of separate units, called multipliers.

Structurally, the reduction gear consists of a housing (cast, cast iron or welded steel), in which the transmission elements are placed - gears, shafts, bearings, etc.

The reduction gear is designed either to drive a certain machine, or to a given load (torque on the output shaft) and gear ratio without specifying a specific purpose.

The drive is supposed to be located in a closed, heated, ventilated room equipped with a three-phase AC supply.

The drive to the horizontal shaft consists of a cylindrical reduction gear, the high-speed shaft of which is connected to the engine by an elastic bushing-flange clutch.

In carrying out this course project, I have acquired the skills to develop comprehensive technical documentation containing calculations, drawings, explanatory notes and other materials necessary for the production of the machine. I got acquainted with the rules of design and design of projects standardized in the unified system of design documentation (ESKD).
