Introduction

The purpose of this course work is to master the skills of choosing active control systems.

The most progressive form of control is active control, in which measurement and information about the measurement results are carried out during processing. In addition, this type of control makes it possible to actively affect the progress of the process, when the working position is combined with the control and the machine is established based on the measurement results.

Automatic control devices are required to implement automatic control in production. Automatic monitoring devices mean devices that, without human intervention, perform the whole set of movements necessary to clarify the actual parameters of the parts, make measurements during processing, sort the parts according to the value of their deviations from the nominal dimensions and control the operation mode of the main process equipment.

The application of any control means depends mainly on the following main factors: the accuracy of the measured parts, their shape and size, the number of controlled parameters, the required productivity and economy. Since each measurement method is accompanied by its own errors, when selecting measuring means, the relationship between the value of the tolerance for the manufacture of the part and the error of the measurement method is used. It is recommended that the measurement method should not exceed the tolerance of the monitored part. Measuring instruments, including measuring control devices, are divided into devices based on direct measurement method, indirect and combined. With a direct measurement method, the tip of the control device is in contact with the surface of the manufactured part all the time and directly controls its size. When the specified size is reached, the control device automatically signals the end of processing or the need to change its mode.

Control devices based on an indirect measurement method do not have direct contact with the surface of the manufactured part, since the end of the processing process is determined here not by the moment when the part reaches a given size, but by the amount of movement of the working member of the machine carrying the cutting tool until stop.

At combined method of measurement position of cutting tool and size of processed surface [1] are controlled simultaneously.

Conclusion

In this course work in the discipline "Theory of automatic control and automation of production processes" on the topic "Design and calculation of the device for active control of external size d 50e8 of the part" Shaft I transmission 501701382A "" the following were performed:

- Selection of active monitoring device;

- Selection of the supply device ;

- Calculation of hydraulic drive parameters of the supply device;

- Accurate calculation of the bracket.

In accordance with the normative reference literature, the graphic part was developed:

- Drawing of round grinding machine with active control device (1 sheet);

- Inlet drawing (2 sheet)

The knowledge required during the course project was obtained by studying such disciplines as "Machine Graphics," "Metal Cutting Machines," without this knowledge, the performance of this course work could cause difficulties, and the knowledge and skills of choosing active control systems obtained during this course work to facilitate the implementation of the degree project.
