Introduction

The purpose of this course project is to consolidate knowledge of the theory of work processes and the basics of car calculation; obtaining skills in performing power calculation of a car; learn to evaluate the quality of the design, determine dimensions and count on the quality of the main functional elements of the car.

It is necessary to analyze the technical characteristics and layout of the prototype car, calculate the engine and transmission parameters of the car based on the technical specification for design, calculate the power-speed characteristics of the car with changed parameters.

We are faced with the task of conducting a design analysis of the car in order to determine the possibility of increasing the carrying capacity from 14700 kg to 15435 kg, and increasing the maximum speed from 95 km/h to 102 km/h.

The conclusion of the calculation part will be the calculation of the variable gearbox. The purpose of this calculation is to calculate the shaft corresponding to our car.

In the final part of the CP, it is necessary to develop a general view of the car, which must be presented on the A1 format sheet, the assembly drawing of the base unit of the variable transmission, and the working drawing of the part.

Conclusion

As a result of the course work, the calculation of a car with the necessary technical characteristics was made on the basis of the prototype MAZ64229. For this car, the main dynamic characteristics are calculated, according to which a dynamic passport is built.

The gearbox of the car was also calculated, the main parameters for the gear engagement of the gearbox were selected. Shaft working drawing and gearbox assembly drawing are made.
