Project Description

Bridge crane, load lifting mechanism, crane movement mechanism.
The course work presents the design of a bridge crane for the production of loading, installation and other works in the workshops of repair and production enterprises.
The purpose of the work is to design a bridge crane.
During the work, the analysis of existing structures, mechanisms and safety devices was carried out, the main calculations of the bridge crane were made.
The bridge crane drawings were calculated and developed. The main structural and technical and economic indicators: lifting capacity - 20 t, span - 20 m, cargo lifting speed - 0.13 m/s, trolley moving speed - 0.6 m/s, crane operating mode - 3K.
Labour protection measures have been developed.
Introduction
Lifting and transportation machines are the most important equipment for mechanizing work in all sectors of the national economy - in industry, construction, transport, and agricultural production. They are used to move people in vertical, horizontal, and inclined directions.
Modern in-line process and automated lines, inter-farm and intra-farm transport, loading and unloading operations at warehouses and transshipment points are organically associated with the use of various types of lifting vehicles and mechanisms that ensure the continuity and rhythmicity of production processes. Therefore, the use of this equipment largely determines the efficiency of modern production, and the level of mechanization of technical production determines the degree of perfection and productivity of the enterprise. With modern production intensity, it is impossible to ensure its steady rhythm without coordinated and trouble-free operation of means of transporting raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products at all stages of processing and storage. One of the types of lifting vehicles is bridge cranes.
Modern lifting vehicles are characterized by a wide range of load capacity, dimensions of serviced areas, high productivity. There are no quantitative limitations on the basic parameters for modern lifting vehicles. They are created for any conditions of possible application. There are only economic restrictions.
Complex heavy machines are expensive and only useful if they can be loaded so that they pay off for a real life before moral and physical wear. The basic directions of the development of lifting transport equipment are the improvement of the drives of machines and mechanisms aimed at expanding the range of speed control, increasing their efficiency and reliability, developing new design solutions, in particular, using built-in planetary devices with thermally treated durable gears.
The purpose of the course project is to design a bridge two-beam crane.
Preliminary calculations of mechanisms
The purpose of preliminary calculation of crane mechanisms is calculation of basic kinematic parameters for selection of traction element, dimensions and shapes of drum, electric motor, reduction gear box and brake.
Conclusion
In this work, a bridge crane was calculated and designed, parameters of the lifting and moving mechanisms of the trolley were calculated.
As the design and design data showed, the selected nodes and mechanisms comply with the rules and standards of state supervision and ensure the fulfillment of the main provisions of the technical assignment.
The design of the mechanisms is designed taking into account the specifics of the operation of the mechanism and the requirements for the strength, reliability and durability of these products.
Therefore, it can be concluded that the designed bridge crane meets the necessary performance criteria and ensures that the requirements of the specification are met.
