Description
Common structural feature of centrifuges of OGSH type is horizontal arrangement of axis of cylindrical-conical rotor with coaxial screw located inside it. The rotor and the auger rotate in one direction, but at different frequencies, as a result of which the auger transports the formed precipitate along the rotor to discharge windows located in a narrow part of the rotor. Centrifugal rotor located on two supports is driven by motor through V-belt drive. The screw drive is from the centrifuge rotor through a special reduction gear.
