Organization and procedure of works execution
1. The following works shall be performed prior to the start of works on temporary road construction:
- the route of the road is illuminated and broken;
- temporary buildings and structures are installed in the scope necessary for the work;
- mechanisms and tools delivered to the site;
- lighting of work areas and domestic premises is arranged;
- the necessary materials have been imported.
2. The requirements of SNiP 3.06.0385 "Highways," SNiP 3.02.0187 "Earthworks, Bases and Foundations," SNiP 3.03.0187 "Load-bearing and enclosing structures" shall be complied with during the construction of roads, as well as during their commissioning.
3. Works on construction of temporary roads are carried out in-line method ensuring uniform and continuous performance of works of mechanisms and workers.
4. With small volumes of work and in sections of small length, where the use of the flow method is impractical, work is carried out in a cyclic method alternately along the entire length of the road.
5. By the beginning of road works, fences of work places shall be arranged and signs and information boards shall be placed with indication of types of work and terms of their execution .
Earthwork Arrangement
The installation of the roadbed (trough) is started after cutting the plant layer and performing survey geodetic work. Cutting of vegetable layer is performed by longitudinal passages of bulldozer of DZ101 grade. Cut soil is taken out of the area if it cannot be used. The width of the trough in the excavation should be more than the width of the coating by 0.5 m. The technology for the device of the cut-in trough includes the following operations: slaughtering and moving into a cone, loading the soil into dump trucks and removal to cars, planning the surface of the bottom.
Bulldozer cuts and moves soil along trough forming cone of appropriate height. Then, PUM500 loader immerses soil on dump trucks with its transportation to installed places. To ensure the front of the work on the arrangement of the sand underlying layer, the work on the arrangement of the trough should be carried out with at least one shift ahead.
Device of sand underlying layer.
Device of underlying layer is started after acceptance of earth bed. Sand for the underlying layer shall have a compacted filtration ratio of at least 3 m/day. The process of sand layer device includes: sand unloading, distribution and compaction.
Sand for the underlying layer device is delivered in dump trucks and leveled by bulldozer DZ101 (DZ101A). Final surface layout of the underlying layer for compaction is performed manually, if necessary. The thickness of the layer in the loose state should exceed the design one taking into account the loosening factor 1.1. Simultaneously, sand humidity is determined. If necessary, sand is moistened to the optimum value, calculating the required amount of water according to the formula (t/m3),

where h is the thickness of the filled layer of sand, m;
Wo and We are respectively optimum and natural humidity in%;
δ - volume mass of sand.
Sealing is performed by trailed pneumatic pump DSK1 in coupling with tractor C100 or site vibrators. Compaction is started from the side to the road axis, at that each trace from the previous pass of the roller should overlap at the next pass by not less than 1/3. For effective sealing with a pneumatic pump, 8 times the number of passes in one trace is required. The final number of passes is established by a test roll. The results of the test summarization must be recorded in the general activity log.
Vehicles are not allowed to move along the underlying layers to avoid violation of the profile of the layers and contamination of the material. All subsequent road construction works are carried out after the construction of the underlying layer without a significant break in time.
