2.1 Scope of application
The process sheet was developed for the installation of the roof from the Monterrey metal block in accordance with SNiP II2676 Roofs, SNiP III480 "Safety in Construction," instructions for the installation of the metal roof and other regulatory documents in force on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. The metal sheet is steel shaped sheets with longitudinal waves and transverse corrugations. Sheets withstand the effects of various weather conditions and a polluted industrial atmosphere. Sheets of metal are supplied complete with other elements used in the construction of roofs: frontline bars, cornice elements, snow retainers, horse elements, etc. Profiled sheets of the Monterrey type are made with a thickness of 0.45 mm, a useful width of 1100 mm, a maximum length of 8 m, a transverse pattern pitch of 350 mm. Roofing slabs with protective coating can be stored in a flat place and stored in the factory package for a month, putting bars about 20 cm high under the bag with an interval of 0.5 m. For longer storage, the slab should be shifted with racks. It is forbidden to store slabs on the street in non-verified stacks. It is recommended to transfer the slabs by lifting them on the rib. Slabs are transported to construction sites by vehicles equipped with special fastening and supporting devices that exclude displacement.
2.3 Organization and procedure of works execution
The technological sequence of works execution depends on the building design and accepted methods of works. The adopted method of work ensures their stability, and the organization of work ensures the continuity and uniformity of processes with maximum alignment of installation with other types of work. The work execution diagram shows the work execution direction and movement paths of the installation cranes, on which their parking is indicated; sequence of mounted elements installation is determined by their numbering.
Execution of these works is performed by KB504 crane.
Grating device.
Organizational and preparatory measures shall be performed in accordance with SNiP 3.01.0185 "Organization of Construction Production," as well as all works in accordance with the construction plan, prior to the start of the grille arrangement. In addition, the following works shall be performed:
erection of the above-ground part of the building from cast-in-situ reinforced concrete;
walls from gas silicate blocks "ZABEROVA" were erected;
rafters are mounted;
the certificate of acceptance of the completed installation works on the basis of the as-built geodetic survey scheme;
delivered to the installation area of devices, equipment, tools;
operating parking stations of the installation crane are indicated.
Installation of the screen.
This work is carried out by a link of carpenters. Link composition: 4-bit carpenter -1, 3-bit 1.
For the screen, 32x100 mm boards are used, which are installed in steps of 350 mm. The cornice board should be 1015 mm thicker than others. The sheeting boards to the rafters are fixed by two galvanized nails (at one attachment place). When laying the roof base, it is recommended to use a material with waterproofing properties as a lining. Waterproofing shall prevent ingress of condensate from the rear side of the roof plate to thermal insulation. The end board shall be above the screen by the height of the roof slab profile at Monterrey. For reliable attachment of the skate bar, wooden racks are nailed under it on both sides. The cornice plate is installed until roofing plates are attached, overlapping 100 mm, the plate is fixed with self-cutting screws 4.8 x 28 mm.
Installation of roofing coating made of metal.
This work is carried out by links of workers consisting of: roofer of 5 category -1 people;
roofer on steel roofs of 4 categories -1 person, roofer-rigger of 2 categories - 1 person.
The supply of material to the roof is carried out in containers with a crane with the following sequence. T1 alternately attaches the sling hooks to the lifting loops of the container and sends a signal to the crane driver to tighten the sling branches. Convinced of the reliability of the sling, T1 gives the crane driver a signal for further lifting of the container. The crane driver smoothly lifts the container with sheets to the roof. T2 receives the container at a height of 0.40.6 m from the roof, mounts it on the support and disengages the sling hooks from the container mounting loops. Then T2 unloads the container, laying the metal sheet on the support. Then T2 sends a signal to the crane driver to supply the sling branches to the lower container, slings the container behind the mounting loops and sends a signal to the crane driver to lift the container to the scrap metal warehouse. T1 accepts the empty container, places it in the warehouse and disables it.
After feeding the slabs to the roof, they are laid. Installation of roofing plates starts from the pediment. Each next sheet is placed under the last wave of the previous sheet. This technique facilitates stacking.
Lower edge of sheet is installed with projection from cornice by 40 mm. The first three to four sheets are stuck on the skate with only one screw, carefully aligned along the cornice and only after that they are fixed thoroughly along the entire length. The first sheet is installed and fixed with one screw at the skate. The second sheet is then laid so that the lower edges of both sheets are aligned. Overlapping is secured by one screw under the first transverse fold on the profile wave ridge. If the sheets do not fit together, first lift one sheet, and then, slightly tilting the sheet, lay the fold behind the fold and fasten it with a screw on the wave ridge from below up under each transverse fold. Thus, three to four sheets are fastened and aligned from below strictly along the cornice. Only after that do they begin to finally attach the plates to the lattice. You can do the opposite, align the overlaps at the bottom of the sheet - among themselves, then attach them to the lattice.
Attachments of "Monterrey" type sheets are made with self-cutting screws 4.828 mm. For working with screws, an electric drill with a special nozzle is very convenient. Self-cutting screws 4,927 with sealing washer are screwed into profile wave deflection under transverse ditch perpendicular to screen. One square meters. m plate requires 6 screws - self-cuts, taking into account the fact that the plate is attached along the edge through one transverse fold. Although roofing slabs are manufactured individually, additional treatment may be necessary at the construction site. In the longitudinal direction, the plate is trimmed with a metal leg or scissors. At an angle, the plate is trimmed with a disk electric saw with hard alloy teeth. The abrasive cutting tool is never used here.
The chips formed during processing should be carefully removed from the plates, since rusty chips spoil the coating. If the surface of the slabs is contaminated during installation work, it can be cleaned with ordinary washers. Organic solvents can damage the polymeric coating of the boards. If scratches are formed on the surface of the roof plates during processing or installation, the protective zinc layer still protects the roof from rust. Scratches can be easily painted with paint of the same tone as the roof. It is recommended to paint all cut edges of plates.
Walk on the slabs gently in shoes on a soft sole, stepping only in places of sheathes and in deflections of the wave.
Installation of grooves in the places of metal mill connection
with different inclinations.
Initially, blanks are made from smooth sheet. To do this, the sheets are cut out with the desired length and width with a metal leg, and then given an L-shape. Further, a continuous flooring is arranged with a waterproofing layer and height, like a grate. Then a smooth sheet is installed on it. Gap between roofing sheet and inner joint is filled with silicone sealants. Before sealant laying, the surface is cleaned from dust and dirt and loaded. On the inner joint, a flat bar is mounted. It is fixed with rivets or screws over wave with pitch of 300350 mm. The bar is not compacted.
Set the skate.
First, the sealing tape is installed. It is carefully nailed to the profile with small nails, after which the horse is covered with bars. Before final attachment of the roof skate, make sure that all roof slabs are installed and fixed, and the sealing tape and the first row of fastening screws are covered with a skate plate, which is fixed with screws through one wave of the profile.
Installation of a snowplane.
Snow slipping in unwanted places is prevented by a snow stop, which is fixed at a distance of about 350 mm from the edge of the overhang with a large screw. Lower edge is fixed through profile wave by screws of normal size.
The wall adjoining device.
Furrows are punched in wall with depth of 65 mm with section area up to 50 mm2. Then wooden plugs with dimensions of 60x60x120 with spacing of 700 mm are installed in the wall. Bars of 50x50 mm section are attached to plugs. Further, corners are brought into bars, which are fixed through sheet waves to the screen with four screws. Installation of the visor sheet is made of smooth 300 mm long. Joints are sealed with silicone sealant.
Installation of gutters.
Before installing gutters, the outer cornice boards should be painted, as access to them will be difficult after fixing the gutters.
As a rule, a single gutter pipe is required per 100 m2 of roof. Based on architectural or other considerations, a large number of pipes can be installed. In this case, the roof slope should be carefully measured.
The support hooks are fixed so that the distance between the extension of the roof plane and the outer edge of the gutter is at least 25 mm. Semicircular troughs are joined closely and fastened with a special lock. Silicone mastic is used for compaction. The end of the trough is closed by a plug, which is fixed by screws or rivets. Silicone sealant is used for compaction. It is necessary that the slope of the trough is about 3 mm/ppm.
Ventilation.
Under the roof, warm air rising from the interior accumulates, contributing to the condensation of moisture. This can be avoided by using a structure in which warm air is cooled to outside temperature without condensation. The formation of condensate is also hindered by careful insulation, gutters on roofing plates and ventilation.
All clearances shall be carefully sealed. For good ventilation, the roof base is made so that the air can freely circulate from the cornice to the skate. Vents are located at the highest points of the roof. Storage rooms are ventilated through end windows. In order to prevent moisture from getting under the skate on the grate, a strip of waterproofing material is nailed under the tip.
