Description
Device for electric erosion piercing of holes consists of elbow 2 to which body 6 is attached by means of screws 11. Pneumatic cylinder 1 with spring is secured to housing 6 by means of screws 9. Pneumatic cylinder has rod one end of which is connected with piston and the other end - with washer 7 by means of hook-like washer 17 and thrust nut 13. Conductor plate (5) is attached to upper part of elbow (2) by means of swivel bolt (8), pin (18), thrust washer (16) and nut (15). In the conductor bar 5 there is an opening into which the sleeves 3 and 4 are inserted in series for more accurate feeding of the electrode tool. The proposed device operates as follows. The device is always in the clamping mode due to the spring, so in order to put the part, it is necessary to supply a certain volume of air to the working chamber of the pneumatic cylinder 1. After the air is supplied, the piston begins to move to the left, thereby compressing the spring and loosening the clamp. There is a large gap between the washer 6 and the thrust nut 13 which allows the hook washer 17 to be removed from the rod and with it the washer 7. The workpiece is then inserted into the housing 6, the washer 7 together with the nut-shaped washer 17 being inserted back into the rod. The air starts to withdraw from the working chamber of the pneumatic cylinder 1 and the spring thereby clamps the part with the help of a washer 7. The tool electrode enters the hole of the sleeve 3 and processes the part. Using the device of this design will significantly increase the productivity and accuracy of electroerosion treatment during mass production due to the use of pneumatic clamping and a conductor bar with a bushing.
