Description
Water supply, sewerage and sanitary equipment of buildings and individual facilities determine not only the level of improvement of settlements, but also the scale of development of many sectors of the national economy. Water supply and sewerage systems, which are built in places where people live and work and production enterprises operate, belong to life support systems. The provision of high quality and sufficient water to consumers is of great sanitary, economic and social importance. The purpose of this course project is to design and calculate the cold water supply and sewerage system of a four-story residential building. The water supply system includes cold water supply. The main requirement for the design is to ensure the flow rate of water corresponding to the calculated number of water consumers or the installed water disassembly device. The internal drainage system is designed for waste water discharges from buildings.

The provision of high quality and sufficient water to consumers is of great sanitary, economic and social importance.
The purpose of this course project is to design and calculate the cold water supply and sewerage system of a four-story residential building.
The water supply system includes cold water supply. The main requirement for the design is to ensure the flow rate of water corresponding to the calculated number of water consumers or the installed water disassembly device.
The internal drainage system is designed for waste water discharges from buildings.
Selecting an Internal Water Supply System and Scheme
The following internal water supply system is designed in the building (as per SNiP 2.04.0185 [3]):
By purpose - economically - potable, since the water supply is operated in a residential building and is designed to supply water only for household and drinking needs;
By the type of water supply source - central, by task;
According to the method of using water - direct-flow, since water is not used repeatedly or repeatedly;
In terms of service, it is separate, since the storey of the building does not exceed 12 floors, fire water supply is not designed for it and water is consumed in the building for household and drinking needs;
Depending on the supply of the head - the system operating under the pressure of the external water supply, since the guaranteed head Hg is more than the required Ntr ;
A dead end water supply scheme has been designed in the building, since a break in water supply is allowed in the building and no fire water supply is designed. Since the building is less than 12 floors, the lower routing of the main pipelines is designed in the building.
